Don't get your hopes up Mac fans, Google Chrome will not be released for the Mac yet. But, it is on the way. Today, you get a taste of what it may look like. It's still in development, but look out for it in the coming months.

IBuyPower looks like they are going to be releasing two new gaming rigs, for the gamers. I would say 'us' gamers, but i can't call myself a gamer anymore, until Starcraft 2 comes out, that is. Anyways, the lower-end model will be the Gamer HAF 91B. This rig will use AMD's Dragon platform and will have the Phenom II X4 920 processor. It also comes with 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a 500GB SATA II HDD, a dual-layer DVD writer, an ATI 512MB Radeon HD 4850 graphics card and a 550-watt power supply. It also has an alright-looking case, the CoolerMaster HAS 932. The higher-end model will be called the Gamer Fire and it will have a Phenom II X4 940 CPU, a 750GB HDD, a Blu-ray drive and has an NZXT Guardian 921 chassis (case). The Gamer HAF 91B is going for $999 USD; meanwhile, the Gamer Fire is going for $1,439 USD. It's up to you to choose which one will suit your needs.

On to more disappointing news we head over to Square Enix. Dragon Quest IX looks like its going to be delayed and that may also affect the, already-late, release date of Final Fantasy XIII. Square Enix has already announced that we'll (North America) be seeing Final Fantasy XIII (at the earliest) in early 2010. Since, Dragon Quest is being pushed back, this might even push Final Fantasy XIII to a mid-2010 launch. Let's go Square Enix, you can do it.

Google will finally let developers sell their Android apps. You will be able to sell apps on the Android Market. Google's apps will work a little bit different from Apple's apps. This is because instead of reviewing each app made, like Apple does, Google will let users rate the application. I don't know how effective this strategy will be but we'll just have to see and find out for ourselves.

If you happened to catch some of the Spike TV Video Game Awards, you may have seen the short trailer for God of War 3. This is the extended version and it looks amazing. The graphics quality is amazing and will, apparently, be one of the best graphical games of all time. Here's the extended trailer, via Blip.tv.
