Something quite interesting has hit the FCC, the RVL-036 which is a new Nintendo Wiimote. Apparently, there's a confidentiality request to keep the information locked up until November 7th of this year. Both websites are suggesting that this new Wiimote could have the Wii MotionPlus technology integrated so there'll be no need for the extra accessory so that's some decent news. Nintendo Europe has just confirmed that they will be launching the black Nintendo Wii bundle - with Wii Sports Resort and Wii MotionPlus - on November 20th. Check out exactly what they had to say below.

It looks like it has been made official. The black Wiimote, Nunchuck, and MotionPlus will be hitting us on November 16th. The black Wiimote and Wii MotionPlus will be bundled together for $50 USD, the black Nunchuck will be separate and will cost another $20 USD.

Exactly a month ago, the sexy black Nintendo Wii launched in Japan alongside the black Wiimote, Nunchaku, and Classic Controller. Nintendo has just announced that they will be bringing the sexy black peripherals to America this holiday season. As of right now, word on a black Nintendo Wii console coming to America hasn't been mentioned yet, so it might not be coming. Unfortunately, the exact date hasn't been announced either. "There's also a new bundle: the black Wii Remote is available with a black version of the Wii MotionPlus accessory included. Pricing is still TBA."

Here's a picture of the black Nintendo Wii and friends in the wild. The black Wiimote has a sleeve around it, so that's why it's not as glossy as the controller. I like the look of the gloss finish on the Wii and controllers, but it'll be overcome by the smudge marks after a day of use. As a bonus, look below for the blue model of the Wiimote and nunchuck as well.

The good news? Nintendo will release a black Nintendo Wii on August 1st. The bad news? It will only be available in Japan for ¥25,000 ($260 USD). Obviously, Japan gets all the good stuff, clearly with the sexiest Wii of all-time. Nintendo is also going to launch a black Wii Remote, black Nunchaku, and black Classic Controller Pro for ¥3,800 ($40 USD), ¥1,800 ($19 USD), ¥2,000 ($21 USD), respectively.

Nintendo will also be launching a red Nintendo DSi in Japan on July 11 of this year for ¥18,900 ($197 USD). Yes, another Japan exclusive.

Nintendo finally decided to unveil the release date and price of their upcoming Wiimote add-on, the Wii MotionPlus. The June 8 release date points out that it will be here just in time for a Canadian Summer. Although the Wii MotionPlus will be an extra $20 USD addition, Kotaku does make a good point. "With Wii Remotes pricing at $US39.99, $19.99 for a Nunchaku and now $19.99 for the Wii MotionPlus, that means it costs $80 for a full loaded Wii Remote." Looks like the Wii is not as cheap as you originally think it is.

On a side note, third party games for the Wii are just about awful, so everyone should go out and buy a PlayStation 3 now!

For all of you Nintendo Wii owners that need to lose weight, here's another way to do it without the Wii Fit. The Riiflex Wiimotes were spotted back in January and is now available for pre-orders. The 2-pound Riiflex Wiimote will cost you $34.95 USD and the 5-pound set will cost you $39.95 USD. Make sure these don't fly out of your hands because it's a perfect way to send another person to the emergency room. Look out kids!

Gametrack Freedom's Wiimote controller for the Xbox 360 is expected later this Fall; meanwhile, a Playstation 3 version is expected sometime in 2010. The remote has a built-in accelerometer, and has a bunch of other features that are similar to the Wiimote. "The Freedom also uses two sensor bars set by the television for ultrasonic 3D positioning."
