Introduced in September of last year, you probably don't remember what you see above - the Toshiba JournE tablet. It was supposed to launch in Q4 of last year but clearly that didn't happen. The good news (I guess, to some people) is that it's now available in Germany for €249 ($308 USD). For a brief overview, this tablet features a 7-inch resistive touchscreen (480 x 800 resolution) display, a Samsung 533MHz ARM11 CPU, WiFi b/g support, 1GB of internal storage, an SD card slot, an HDMI port, a 2,200mAh battery, and a tweaked version of Windows CE.

What you see above has just been shown off by Toshiba at IFA this year. Introducing to you the Toshiba JournE tablet / MID. This device is still a prototype but it has: a 7-inch resistive touchscreen display, WiFi 802.11 b/g, only 1GB of internal storage, an SD card slot, an HDMI port, and it runs Windows CE 6.0 Pro.

This device is only 14mm thick, weighs under a pound, and is supposedly launching in Europe in Q4 of this year for around €250 ($356 USD). Check out the video below, courtesy of Engadget.
