Sasktel, in Canada, has a new phone for you that you might be interested in. They have just launched the Samsung r100, but it's sadly just an entry-level handset. This phone features a 1.77-inch display with a 128 x 160 resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 support, and a non-standard 2.5mm headphone jack. They've decided to launch it for $35 on a 2-year contract, $55 on a 1-year contract, and $70 contract-free, which is pretty good.

This handset's sporting a 1.77-inch display with a 128 x 160 resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 support, and CDMA connectivity. This is available for free on a 2-year contract or $49.99 CAD on a pre-paid plan. Check it out on Virgin Mobile here.

It won't exactly be the biggest news you'll hear all week but it looks like Canada's Bell Mobility is looking to launch the Samsung r100 (on the right) and the r330. They'll have a candybar and a flip phone form factor, respectively, and they're both "entry level phones". The price hasn't been mentioned yet but they should launch by the end of this quarter - before the end of March.
