At IFA, Samsung decided to show off a new red Special Edition Samsung N510 netbook. This netbook model will be available in Korea soon, but we don't know the price and we also don't know if this edition will be hitting anywhere outside of Korea. The specs are the same, so you'll find: an 11.6-inch display, Nvidia Ion graphics, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, Windows XP and a 6-cell battery on-board.

These are the first pictures of a customer's new Samsung N510 netbook. In the picture above it's on the left side, the one on the right is the Samsung NC10. In case you forgot, the N510 has: an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, Nvidia Ion graphics, and Windows XP. Thankfully, it has a matte display, which means no glossiness! Trust me, that's always good.

According to the latest source, Samsung is developing a new netbook that will utilize the Nvidia Ion. Besides the Ion, the Samsung N510 netbook will also have: an Intel Atom 1.66GHz N280 CPU, an 11.6-inch WXGA display, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3-in-1 card reader, and a 6-cell battery. This netbook has been confirmed to have a July release date, but the price tag has not been mentioned yet. I'm curious to see how long the battery life will hold up displaying all of that HD video. We'll have to see in the near future, July is only 2 days away y'know.
