Okay, so you've held out until now on a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 14 because it doesn't have the model you're looking for. Well, Lenovo has decided to update said notebook so that you can now get that Core i7-620M 2.66GHz that you've been waiting for. Check it out here if you want to shell out the extra $350. The larger Edge 15 notebook should be getting an upgrade as well and it should be sooner rather than later.

Another day and another slew of AMD-powered notebooks. This time they're from Lenovo and it's the ThinkPad Edge 14 and 15 notebooks. They're both starting at $549 and they'll feature similar spec sheets. They both sport AMD's Athlon II X2 P320 / Turion II X2 P520 CPU options, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 IGP integrated graphics, 4 / 6-cell battery options, and Windows 7. They'll both be available starting on June 22nd, so you can save up a bit of money if you're waiting for these.

Lenovo's done it again. Larger models of their ThinkPad Edge have just been pushed out, yes, 14 and 15-inch models. They're packing Intel Celeron CPUs and a spill-resistant keyboard for starters - that's a $599 starting price. Don't worry though, you'll be able to upgrade them to an Intel Core i3 CPU, a couple of faster and larger HDDs, and even a Blu-ray drive if that's what you want. These notebooks are available in glossy red, glossy black, or matte black which would be my choice. This one will be on Lenovo's own site in the beginning of April, but you can look around because some retailers are selling them now.
