Lenovo is back at it again with three more upgrades in their notebook line-up. This time it's their Y Series which includes the Y560d, Y470, and the Y570 (pictured above). They all feature new Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU options, Nvidia GT550M graphics, up to 1TB of HDD storage (optional 32GB / 64GB SSD), a Blu-ray reader / DVD burner combo, WiFi b/g/n / optional Bluetooth support, HDMI output, optional USB 3.0 port, and Windows 7.

That's not all though. All of these notebooks come with OneKey Theatre II, JBL speakers, Nvidia's 3D vision (with one pair of glasses), and the company's own optional RapidDrive SSD which will boot up the OS in less than 10 seconds which is quite amazing. All of these notebooks will be available in May of this year with a base price of $899.

If you're interested in a 3D notebook then you might want to check out the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d. This notebook packs a 15.6-inch LED-backlit 3D display (1,366 x 768 resolution), 4GB of RAM, an Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz CPU, a 500GB HDD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 graphics, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The notebook is now available (here) for $1,499. Of course, have fun wearing those dorky glasses.

Lenovo has finally hopped onto the 3D bandwagon by unveiling the 3D model of their IdeaPad Y560, naming it the IdeaPad Y560d. This notebook surprisingly won't be using Nvidia's 3D Vision technology, instead they opted for TriDef's 3D technology which you'll also find in Acer's Aspire 5738DG (Engadget points out). Unfortunately, you'll still need glasses to view the 3D content and there won't be support for 3D Blu-ray which could be a let down for some. Inside you'll find Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU options, ATI Radeon HD5720 graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and Lenovo's RapidDrive technology (combining an HDD and an SSD for faster boot times). This notebook will be making its debut later this month at a base price of $1,200.
