For those who are waiting for Final Fantasy IX on the PSN, you should note that the US will finally be launching it on June 15th. It'll be priced at $9.99 - because you wanted to know.

Sqaure Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy IX will be hitting the PS3's PSN in the near future. Obviously, the exact date wasn't mentioned so we'll really just have to wait and see exactly when this drops. Let's hope it's available for the Summer because it's a pretty good game to kill some time with.

Update: We knew it was on the way really soon, and Joystiq has just mentioned that it'll hit the Japanese PSN starting on May 20th.

Another Final Fantasy game is set to hit the Japanese PSN - Final Fantasy IX. We don't know exactly when and the price tag wasn't mentioned, but the announcement was made on Twitter. The rest of the world will likely get it at a later date.
