ASRock Announces Three New Ion 330 Nettops, Blu-Ray Drive and All

Labels: , , ,

Although ASRock has already released their Ion 330 nettop in the US, it looks like they've just announced the Ion 330HT, Ion 330Pro, and Ion 330HT-BD. The name clearly mentions that all three models will be packed with Nvidia's Ion graphics and we'll also see Intel's Atom Dual-Core 330 1.6GHz CPU, 7.1 channel audio, up to 4GB of RAM, and gigabit Ethernet / HDMI / VGA / eSATA / six USB 2.0 ports inside of this sucker. Clearly, the 330HT-BD will have a built-in Blu-ray drive, just in case you wanted to know. The price and release date hasn't been mentioned yet, but it shouldn't be too far away.

ASRock ION 330 Nettop Now Available in the US -- Possibly Old News

Labels: , ,

Apparently, the ASRock ION 330 nettop is now on sale in the US and I'm pretty sure a lot of people didn't notice. It's actually a decent overall nettop. It has: an Intel Dual-Core Atom 1.6GHz N330 CPU, the Nvidia Ion chipset, 2GB of RAM, Ethernet, a 320GB HDD, six USB 2.0 ports, a VGA / HDMI / Optical S/PDIF port, standard audio ports, and a DVD-RW Super Multi drive.

You'll be able to pack 4GB of RAM into this sucker and you'll be able to play 1080p video, thanks to its Ion graphics. A Blu-ray model is expected to be available soon, so maybe you'll want to wait for that. It's now available for $380 USD on NewEgg and $350 on SuperBiiz.com; you can always check it out on ASRock's official website though.

ASRock Launching 12-Inch Multibook G22 With a Multitouch Trackpad, Ion, and Atom 330

Labels: ,

ASRock has just announced the new Multibook G22. Being an Asus spinoff, this laptop actually has a pretty decent spec sheet. The Multibook G22 has: a 12.1-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, a dual-core Atom 330 CPU, Nvidia Ion, 2GB of RAM, a multitouch trackpad, a 10-in-1 card reader, and a 320GB HDD. We're not done yet, so just take a breather. This laptop also has VGA / HDMI outputs, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and a DVD burner. The laptop weighs over 3.3 pounds without a battery and is more than an inch thick. It's quite bulky, but - to be honest - I'd still purchase it if the price was reasonable. The price and availability has not been mentioned yet, but cross your fingers that it's something cheap.
