We've talked about the Sony S and E Series Walkmans a couple of times, but we never knew exactly when they would be available. Well, now we know that both sets of Walkmans will be available next month. The 8GB and 16GB Sony S Series Walkman will be available next month for just $110 and $130, respectively. The S Series Walkman has: a 2.4-inch display, an FM tuner, stereo speakers, a microphone, and a battery long enough 42 hours of audio / 6.4 hours of video playback. If you use the speakers, you'll have enough battery to last 17 hours of audio / 5 hours of video.

The 8GB and 16GB Sony E Series Walkman with a 2-inch QVGA display will be available next month for just $80 and $100, respectively.

Gizmodo points out that both Walkmans have a couple of colour options and they both support iTunes 8.1 and Windows Media Player.

Remember the Sony S Series Walkman we saw two weeks ago? Well, it looks like it just found its way onto French retailer Materiel's website. There are two models that are available: an 8GB NWZ-S544 and a 16GB NWZ-S545. Both of these PMPs have: a 2.4-inch QVGA display, stereo speakers, a microphone, an FM tuner, and a battery long enough to last 42-hours of audio / 6.5-hours of video. The 8GB and 16GB models are now available on the website for €129 ($182 USD) and €149 ($211 USD), respectively. Check out the 8GB model here and the 16GB here.

Sony Insider is taking a guess that this picture consists of Sony's new S-Series Walkmans. The specs of this new Walkman have not been revealed, but the picture shows that these new PMPs will have speakers on the front of the device. "The S-Series Sony Walkman has been a good seller for Sony - super-thin, music and video capabilities, long lasting battery, FM tuner, and so forth. It resides in a good price range and has probably been one of Sony's best selling Walkmans." We should have more information on this new Walkman in a couple of weeks, but you can always check out the rumoured iPod Touch that should come camera-equipped later this year.
