Amazon Now Has the Asus UL30Vt Notebook Available For $850 Pre-Orders

Amazon (here) looks like they now have the Asus UL30Vt available on their website, but just for pre-orders. This notebook is listed at $849 USD and its sporting: a 13.3-inch display, 4GB of RAM, an Intel SU7300 1.3GHz ULV CPU, a 500GB HDD, Nvidia G210M / Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics (swappable), and 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The shipping date hasn't been mentioned, but we'll hopefully know soon.

Asus UL30Vt Now Available For $799 On Amazon, Switchable Graphics and All.

Remember the Asus UL30Vt? Well, it's now available on Amazon for $799. Surprisingly enough, you'll find switchable graphics inside of this baby so you can choose between Nvidia G210M discrete graphics or the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics. The UL30Vt also packs: a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 ULV 1.3GHz CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth support, an integrated 0.3MP webcam, and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). The listing on Amazon also states that this notebook will last for up to 12 hours. Check it out on Amazon here.

This is actually something I'd get if I didn't have a notebook already.

Asus UL30Vt Gets Announced, Packs Discrete Graphics Into Thin Aluminum Body

Asus has just announced their latest notebook that is pretty ultraportable. The Asus UL30Vt (a variant of their UL30) has: a 13.3-inch display, an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.4GHz ULV CPU, DDR3 RAM, and somehow also manages to pack discrete graphics into its thin frame. If you can't tell from the photo it has an aluminum body. The original UL30 is $749, so this model shouldn't be entirely expensive.

Asus Announces Four New Aluminum Notebooks With Intel ULV CPUs

Asus has just announced four new Intel ULV-packed notebooks and they have a nice aluminum body on them as well. The 12.1-inch UL20, 13.3-inch UL30, 14-inch UL80, and 15.6-inch UL50 notebooks will have: a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an integrated 0.3MP webcam, up to 4GB of RAM, and a wide range of Intel ULV options. The two small models have an integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics; the two larger models will have a 512MB Nvidia GeForce G 210M graphics card and an Intel GS45 chipset.
