Coming from RIM's own mouth is that their 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will be available Q1 2011. That's not all though, they mentioned that this would be Q1 of the calendar year, and since RIM's first fiscal quarter is March this could actually be the same time that the PlayBook will launch. Yes, the PlayBook could be hitting the market in March 2011. Of course, this is assuming everything works out, this includes the software and hardware working together. They're going to do their best to trump the iPad - even though they're still trying to catch up to the iPhone in the smartphone world.
