The PlayStation Phone isn't the only thing that Sony is focusing on right now because something new has just hit the FCC. What you see above is the Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S006 handset which will raise the standards for mobile cameraphones all around the world. This will be the first handset from the company that will have their Exmor R camera sensors and it'll be hitting KDDI in Japan.

The sensor on the back is a 16MP back-illuminated camera which should take better low light pictures than the current sensors do. Specs include a 3.3-inch display, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, WiFi / Bluetooth support, GPS, and their own dumbphone OS. Oh yeah, this is also reportedly a tad waterproof. Interesting indeed.
