Digitimes is reporting that Intel's Atom N500 dual-core CPU is set for a launch in June, which seems like it's right on cue. Apparently, Asus will be the first company running a netbook with this new CPU, which seems right as well. Although it's not confirmed right now, the said netbook should be launching in Q3 of this year and it'll be priced at around $575 USD.
Right now we already know that the upcoming Asus Eee PC 1215N will sport this Atom N500 and it's rumoured to be set for a June release date - it'll also have the next-gen Ion graphics along with Optimus technology.
