Asus Eee Pad Tablet To Be Announced In June, Released In July
We already know that Asus is working on some kind of tablet, unofficially dubbed the Eee Pad. According to Digitimes, this tablet will get shown off in Taipei at the Computex show this June with the release date set for July at the beginning of Q3. This tablet is set to pack Nvidia's Tegra chipset, USB ports, a webcam, Flash support, and Android. It should be priced right around $500 USD.
Update: According to Boy Genius, Asus is actually working on another tablet with an Intel Core iX (i5 / i7) CPU. This tablet is expected to run Windows 7 and it could sport a similar design to the WePad (pictured below). The rumoured price tag is said to be $750. It's just a rumour right now, so take it with a grain of salt.
