Eurocom Stuffs Intel Core i7-980X Desktop CPU Into Their D900F Workstation Laptop

Labels: , , ,

Eurocom is apparently one of those companies who like to stuff their notebooks with desktop CPUs and their D900F is no exception. This 17-inch notebook comes with 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 280M graphics, but no OS. They also crammed the Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition into this notebook which is pretty amazing. This notebook will unfortunately cost you $3,675 USD and you'll need to add another $100 if you want Windows 7 on there.

If those specs don't cut it for you since this is a workstation laptop, you should know that you can put Nvidia Quadro FX 2800M or 3800M graphics inside of here as well as four HDDs and up to 12GB of RAM. The notebook itself will weigh around 8.8 pounds and likely won't have a lengthy battery life.
