Acer Announce Touchscreen Aspire 5738PG and Non-Touchscreen Timeline 1810TV Notebooks

Labels: , , , ,

Acer has just announced two more Windows 7 notebooks to add to your list. The Aspire AS5738PG will have a 15.6-inch multi-touchscreen display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz CPU, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4570 graphics, a 320GB HDD, a DVD burner, WiFi 802.11 a/g/n, an integrated webcam, four USB 2.0 ports, a fingerprint reader, an HDMI / Ethernet port, audio jacks, and a multitouch trackpad. This notebook's display won't do any fancy tricks, so there'll be no swiveling here. This will be available on October 22nd for $799.99 USD.

The other Acer notebook that was announced today is the Aspire Timeline AS1810TZ. This notebook will not have a touchscreen display, but it does come with: an 11.6-inch display (likely a 1,366 x 768 resolution), an Intel Dual-Core ULV CPU, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n / Bluetooth support, an Ethernet port, an integrated webcam, a multitouch trackpad, and a 6-cell battery expected to last 8 hours. This will also launch on October 22nd, but it'll be a bit cheaper at $549.99 USD
