Just like the title says, Freecom is the first manufacturer in the world with a USB 3.0 capable hard drive. The Freecom Hard Drive XS 3.0 has 130MBps transfer speeds and is also USB 2.0 [backwards] compatible. This hard drive will be available in the middle of November as low as €119 ($175 USD) in 1TB / 1.5TB / 2TB capacities. It's pretty awesome for a USB 3.0 HDD; it's a good start.
