Samsung Shows Off 6mm Thin LED-Sidelit TV

At IFA, Samsung decided to show off their "proof of concept" TV, which measured in at 6mm thin. Samsung was able to do this using side-lit LED technology. Samsung mentioned that this side-lit LED TV will be hitting the shelves sometime next year (2010). They didn't mention a price though, but it shouldn't cheap.
