Nokia Mako, Thresher, Grouper, Snapper Hitting AT&T This Year

Labels: , , , ,

Nokia hasn't announced these devices, but somehow they have leaked out. The first one I'll talk about is pictured above, it's the Nokia Mako. The Mako has: a 2.4-inch QVGA display, aGPS,  a 2MP camera, 128MB of internal storage with a microSD slot, dual-band HSDPA, and will run on an S60 3.2-based platform, similar to the E71x. The expected release is said to be June 5 on AT&T, but it's probably been pushed back, since we haven't heard anything about it... until now.

Another handset that has been leaked is the Nokia Thresher. It will run S40, so I don't know how people will feel about that. This device has: a 3.2MP camera with a flash, HSDPA and aGPS. It is scheduled for a September release date on AT&T's network.

Nothing much is known about the Nokia Grouper. But, what I do know is that it has a 2MP camera, and also HSDPA support and aGPS. It's expected to be released this July.

The last device that has been leaked is the Nokia Snapper which has: tri-band HSPA, Bluetooth 2.1, aGPS, and a 2MP camera. This is set for an August release date. I don't know how stable all of these release dates are, but they are all set to hit AT&T.
