Gateway Steps Up Their FX Series Gaming Desktop PC, Upgrades Ensue In Their SX / DX Line-Up
This morning Gateway has introduced a couple of new desktop Series'. Their gaming FX Series (above) of desktop PCs just got a new casing and has some LED lighting effects. Inside there's room for an Intel Core i7 2.8GHz CPU, ATI Radeon HD5850 graphics, a 1.5TB HDD, up to 16GB of RAM, a 16x DVD drive, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. This desktop PC starts at $1,299 but you can shell out a few more bucks for the 4x BD-ROM drive if you want.
The SX and DX Series didn't change much, but the internals got an upgrade. In the SX Series you can now tune it up for an Intel Core i3 2.93GHz CPU and the DX Series can be equipped with an Intel Core i5 3.2GHz CPU.

This handset just passed the Bluetooth SIG and now the Samsung S8500 has been cruising around at the FCC as well. This handset will be the first handset to have Bluetooth 3.1 support. It'll also feature a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, quad-band GSM support, a 1,000mAh battery, Bluetooth / WiFi support, and a microSD card slot. The OS is still unknown right now, but it looks like it could be an EU model. Check out the FCC filing here.
