HP just cut the prices of two of their laptops. First is the HP dv2z, which is the 12.1-inch AMD Neo laptop and it is now priced at $599 USD. The other laptop that got a price cut is the dv3t - which utilizes the Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 CPU - and it is now available for $649 USD.

Now lets talk about the laptop that you see above. HP's dv6 now has two new options, the dv6z Artist Edition 2 (above) is now available for $949 USD and the dv6t - priced at $649 USD - is the exact same thing, just without the artsy design. I'm not liking the design, but I'm sure there's someone out there that would love to dish out an extra $300 just to be unique.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 notebook is now available on Newegg. Like the Y550 that surfaced last month - I'm pretty sure - the IdeaPad Y650 also has the touch-sensitive Desktop Navigator. Other specs are as follows: a 16-inch LED-backlit WXGA display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz P8600 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, an ExpressCard slot, 2 USB 2.0 slots, a VGA / HDMI port, a microphone / headphone jack, a 6-in-1 card reader, a 1.3MP webcam, and a 6-cell battery long enough to last 3.5-hours. Furthermore, this notebook will run on Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit), will weigh around 5.62 pounds, and is 1.03-inches at its thickest point.
