Sony has just unveiled their new netbook, the Vaio W. It's got typical netbook specs, meaning: a 10.1-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, probably a 160GB HDD, and it runs Windows XP. Sony has also slapped on a chiclet keyboard onto this pretty thick netbook. Knowing Sony, this netbook will probably cost more than other / better netbooks. The price and availability, though, have not been mentioned yet. For a short video on this netbook, check out the link below.
Update: According to Engadget, the Sony Vaio W is now available for pre-order in the US and will cost around $500 USD. It's going to be available in mid-August and will come in 3 colours: berry pink, sugar white, and cocoa brown.
