Toshiba Japan Announces 15 REGZA LCD TVs Set For Japan

Well, Toshiba Japan has just unveiled 15 new LCD HDTVs. First up is the REGZA Z1 Series which comes in 37, 42, 47, and 55-inch models. They all boast a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, edge-lit LED technology, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an SD / SDHC card slot, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, 10W x 2 speakers, four HDMI ports, a REGZA link, and Windows 7. They'll retail for $2,700, $3,300, $4,200, and $5,200, respectively, in Japan this June. Sadly, the HDDs are sold separately.

Next up is the REGZA RE1 Series which comes in 19, 22, 26, 32, 37, 42, 47, and 55-inch models. The smaller four models boast a measly 1,366 x 768 resolution, while the larger four models sport a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution. All of them feature edge-lit LED technology, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, REGZA link, four HDMI ports, a USB port, an Ethernet port, and video on demand support. Again, the HDDs are sold separately and the four larger models boast the same "clear" LED panel that the REGZA Z1 Series has. The 19-inch model will cost you $850, while the largest and highest-end model will cost you $4,600. These will start being released next month (May) with a full availability expected in August.

The last Series they announced is the REGZA HE1, which comes in 19, 22, and 26-inch models. They all boast the same 1,366 x 768 resolution, edge-lit LED technology, REGZA link, two HDMI / USB / Ethernet ports, video on demand support, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 500GB HDD. These will be available for $1,200, $1,300, and $1,400, respectively, and launch in July in Japan.

Canada's Rogers Rumoured To Launch the XPERIA X10 Mini and Mini Pro This Summer

We already know that Canada's Rogers is set to launch the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 in the near future (possibly tomorrow), but the latest rumour states that they could also be planning to launch the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro this Summer as well. These both feature a 2.55-inch QVGA touchscreen display, aGPS / WiFi / Bluetooth support, a 600MHz CPU, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, a 5MP AF camera, and Android 1.6. Of course, the Mini Pro model sports a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well. The prices are rumoured to be at around $50 on a 3-year contract - if it actually hits the carrier.

TVLogic Unveils Two 15-Inch OLED Monitors, One Of Them Is 3D-Capable; Neither Will Be Cheap

I have no clue who TVLogic is, but they're just unveiled two 15-inch OLED monitors. Both of them are supposedly based on LG's 15-inch OLED display. The first one is the LEM-150W, which is just your standard OLED TV with a 1,366 x 768 resolution with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. The other model, the TDM-150W, is actually 3D-capable which is pretty impressive. The price wasn't mentioned, but the company's 17-inch LCD monitors cost a whopping $3,500 so this definitely won't be cheap.

7-Inch Onda VX560 Tablet Packs HDMI Output, Perfect For 1080p Videos

What you see above may look like a tablet, but Onda has just revealed the VX560 that apparently functions more like a PMP. It's packing a 7-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, support for a bunch of video and e-book formats, and an HDMI output. The good news is that it'll handle 1080p video with ease, so I guess you could call it a tablet - at least I will.

Fishlabs Hints At a Nokia Tablet Capable Of Gaming

Apparently, Fishlabs has just mentioned that they're "working on a AAA title closely together with Nokia featuring OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics for a large screen." This clearly means that the Nokia tablet that we've heard a couple of times could actually be pretty capable - graphics-wise. Of course, no specs are mentioned and it may not even be a tablet. It could always just be the powerful Nokia N8 smartphone, but that doesn't exactly feature a "large screen."

Hardkernel Unveils the ODROID Tablet With 1GHz CPU, Manhandles 1080p Video

You may not be interested in the ODROID but the makers of that gaming handheld, Hardkernel, has just unveiled the ODROID tablet which may cater to a few more customers out there. the ODROID tablet will reportedly feature a Samsung S5PC110 1GHz CPU (aka Hummingbird), a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, and Android 2.1. The CPU is capable of handling 1080p video (at 30 fps) with ease, so this could be another one of those tablets to look out for. Check out the video below for a short video of this tablet.

Dell Mini 5 MID To Get Launched On O2?

Although it's not officially mentioned, Slash Gear is mentioning that the Dell Mini 5 could get launched on O2 in the future. Of course, Dell never confirmed any of this since they're keeping their lips shut. Could this 5-inch MID really be headed to O2 or will this just play out to be a rumour? We'll have to wait and find out.

Nokia N8 Delayed Until Mid July, Hitting O2 UK?

Remember how the Nokia N8's viral ad was supposed to debut sometime yesterday? Well, that didn't happen and it could be because the launch date has been delayed from late May all the way to mid-July. Apparently, a tipster has mentioned that the N8 is in their O2 UK inventory systems and we know that it'll be running Symbian^3. That's all we know right now - besides the rumoured specs, of course.

Vodafone 845 Runs Android 2.1 and It Gets Snapped In the Wild, Launching Soon

It looks like Huawei-made Vodafone 845 has just been pictured in the wild and it's clearly sporting Android 2.1. This handset will hit the carrier with Vodafone 360, but the release date wasn't mentioned - but it'll be sometime this quarter. This handset packs a 2.8-inch touchscreen QVGA display, a 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth / aGPS / WiFi support, and an optical trackpad.

Asus Eee PC R101 and R105 Netbooks Surface, Specs Not Revealed

Asus looks like they're working on even more netbooks to add to their already huge line-up. This one the Eee PC R101 and the R105. As of right now, it tells us just about nothing about either netbook, but it will be running Windows 7 along with a Pine Trail Atom CPU. Maybe the Atom N500?

myTouch Slide To Hit T-Mobile USA In Three Colours, Price and Release Date Still Not Mentioned

We saw the red colour a few days ago and it looks like T-Mobile will be offering the myTouch Slide in three colours: red, white, and black. The release date is still unknown and so are the prices. This handset should feature an HVGA touchscreen display, a camera with an LED flash, a microSD card slot, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1,300mAh battery, an optical trackpad, and Android 2.1.

Update: According to Phandroid, some more specs for this handset has leaked out. This handset will reportedly feature 512MB of ROM / RAM, a 5MP AF camera with an LED flash, an 8GB microSD card in the box, the Sense UI, and a 600MHz ARM CPU.

HTC Desire To Hit US Cellular In the Next Couple of Weeks / Months?

Not exactly who you want to be launching the magnificent HTC Desire, but with the Nexus One already bound to be available on the four major carriers in the US, it's bound to happen. US Cellular looks like they could be planning to launch the HTC Desire in the future. This would be a great pick-up for them. The form (above) states that the Desire could hit the carrier anywhere from April 16th to July 15th. The rebate will be $70.

Update: According to Phandroid, US Cellular has just confirmed that they're launching the Desire. The Facebook status update below states that they're also launching another Android handset, but who knows what it will be.

Verizon Launching the HTC Incredible as the Droid Incredible On April 29th!

The HTC Incredible has just shown up officially on Verizon's website - finally - and it clearly shows that they'll be launching on April 29th as the Droid Incredible. This is probably why they're dropping the Droid Eris by the end of May.

Apple Delays International iPad Launch Until the End of May

Well, it looks like if you don't live in the US and you want the iPad then you'll have to wait. The international launch for this tablet has been delayed by a whole month. It has been delayed until the last half of May because the demand for the iPad was just so big in the US.

Update: Mobile Syrup has just mentioned that Rogers will be offering the iPad in Canada, which isn't surprising. Prices weren't mentioned.

Update: The Next Web has also mentioned that Vodafone, O2, and Orange will be offering the iPad across Europe - depending on your area. This could start a price war, but at least you have a bunch of different carriers to choose from.

Apple To Announce the 4th-Generation iPhone On June 22nd

It looks like the latest rumour has it that Apple will be announcing their next iPhone on June 22nd. This handset will be the 4th-generation and it's rumoured to be called the iPhone HD. The event will take place in the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco, which is the same place every year. The company has reportedly already reserved the place for that date.

Sony Shows Off 24 and 42-Inch 3DTVs At NAB 2010

Sony has just shown off even more of their upcoming LCD 3DTVs at NAB 2010, which is taking place right now in Las Vegas. This new TV comes in a 24 and a 42-inch model and they both boast a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, Chroma TRU color technology, and optional dual stream HD-SDI interface. Of course, you'll need those polarized glasses to view the 3D images / videos. These new LCD 3DTVs are expected to hit the market in the Fall - the prices weren't mentioned.

2011 iPhone To Pack 8MP Camera From Sony and 4G LTE Connectivity?

Coming from The Street, apparently the 2011 iPhone will pack an 8MP camera that will be supplied by Sony. The 2011 iPhone is said to also pack 4G LTE connectivity seeing how both AT&T and Verizon should have their network all ready for that. This is pretty far away and it could always be possible. Right now though Apple gets their camera sensors from OmniVision. Along with this rumour, the iPhone this year should get a 5MP snapper, which shouldn't be surprising. Instead of rumours let's hope we get some solid information soon, which won't happen until June.

Costco Hints At $199.99 T-Mobile HTC Incredible Price Tag, Verizon Employees To Start Training Soon

Well, it looks like Costco in the US could be planning to launch the T-Mobile HTC Incredible for $199.99 on contract, which is obviously predictable. There's really not much left to tell you, but it's rumoured to hit the carrier before the end of this month, especially considering what you see below.

According to this image above, Verizon employees could be just about ready to start their training for the HTC Incredible. This clearly hints at a launch in the near future - it should be mere weeks away.

We heard about the Asus N82J notebook at CeBIT and it looks like it has just been announced again. It officially packs a 14-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz CPU (Turbo Boost for up to 2.8GHz), up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT335M graphics, a 640GB HDD 5,400 rpm / a 500GB HDD 7,200 rpm, a 2MP webcam, USB 3.0, a DVD Super-Multi drive with a Blu-ray, an 8-cell battery, and Windows 7. Of course, this notebook packs Nvidia's Optimus technology to automatically switch from the integrated and discrete graphics.

Pantech IM-A600S Sirius Handset Packs Android 2.1 and Snapdragon, Headed To AT&T, Verizon, and Korea

This is a surprising one. Pantech has just unveiled the IM-A600S Sirius handset and it's packing a mighty fine spec sheet. This will be available on SKY (in Korea) in the future and it'll be packing a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU, a T-DMB TV tuner, a 5MP AF camera, 500MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi / DivX support, an HDMI output, and Android 2.1. I definitely wasn't expecting a handset from Pantech to be this good and it's truly impressive. Unfortunately, the custom UI they decided to pack on this handset is a bit lady like.

Samsung SGH-A847 Hits the FCC, Another Entry Level Handset

A new handset from Samsung has just hit the FCC and it's model name is the SGH-A847. Unfortunately, we know nothing about this handset but it'll be an entry-level one. This handset will reportedly hit AT&T and it's apparently the successor to the current SGH-A837 which isn't all that interesting. The price and release date, of course, weren't mentioned. Samsung Beam Hitting Korea In the Future, Packing Large Price Tag and Pico Projector

It looks like the Samsung Beam is headed to Korea for a whopping 900,000 won ($806 USD). This Korea bound Samsung Beam (SPH-W9600) will actually feature worse specs than what they showed off at MWC. This model packs a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, a T-DMB tuner, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, DivX playback, and an integrated pico projector that can display a WVGA (480 x 800 resolution) image of up to 50-inches. For comparison's sake, the i8520 Beam that was shown off at MWC packed a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED WVGA touchscreen display along with an 8MP camera.

We heard about the Toshiba Tecra M11 notebook back in February so we knew these were on the way. Toshiba has just released this notebook and it's packing Intel Core i3 / i5 CPU options. It also comes packed with a 14-inch LED-backlit display with a 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Core i3-330M CPU, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, integrated Intel HD graphics, a 320GB HDD, a dual-layer DVD writer, a webcam, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, WiFi, audio jacks, an ExpressCard slot, and Windows 7 (along with a Windows XP CD). The more expensive $1,229 model packs an Intel Core i5-520M CPU along with Nvidia NVS 2100M graphics. Intel looks like they could be launching the dual-core Atom N500 CPU sometime this quarter. This processor is obviously targeted at netbooks, but the specifications haven't been mentioned yet. We'll just have to wait around for more information.

It looks like the Samsung NB30 has just been launched over in Italy. The good news is that Samsung decided to throw on a 10.1-inch touchscreen display on this netbook, but it keeps the traditional netbook specs. It packs a 1,024 x 600 resolution matte display, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB / 250GB HDD, integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR support, an integrated webcam, a memory card reader, three USB / VGA ports, audio jacks, a 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The touchscreen model will cost you an extra €120 ($164 USD); the non-touchscreen model is €279 ($380 USD), while the touchscreen model is €399 ($545 USD).

Best Buy Now Selling the Barnes & Noble Nook for $259.99

If you go on Best Buy's website right now (here), you will notice that the Barnes & Noble Nook is now available for you to purchase for $259.99. This is much cheaper than the $399 Spring Design Alex, which is pretty similar to this e-book reader.

Orange Releasing the Gigabyte G1305 Android Handset As the Boston

Orange has just decided that they want to launch the Gigabyte G1305, which is another Android phone. It's part of Gigabyte's GSmart Series if that means anything to you and Orange will be releasing it as the Gigabyte Boston for some reason. It packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen HVGA display, aGPS / WiFi b/g support, a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz CPU, 256MB of RAM, and a 5MP camera. We don't know what version of Android it'll be running but we all know which one we hope it's running. This handset just got it's Bluetooth certificate which you can check out here.

Viewsonic VT2300LED LCD HDTV Hits Amazon For $299

It looks like Viewsonic has rolled out yet another one of their LCD TVs. This one's being named the VT2300LED and it's LED edge-lit. It actually packs a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution along with a 5ms response time. It has a couple of ports like three HDMIs, VGA, and component. The MSRP is said to be $399, but Amazon (here) already has this HDTV for $299, which is impressive.
