Toshiba has just unveiled their latest smartphone and this one will be a part of their growing Regza line-up. This smartphone features a 4-inch display with a 480 x 854 resolution, a 12MP camera, a front-facing camera, a 14.7mm thick body, NFC capabilities, and Android 2.1 with a custom UI. This handset is also waterproof in case you couldn't make that out in the photo above. That's some pretty awesome stuff but who knows how long this will take to hit the market. Toshiba has just unveiled a bunch of new HDTVs as a part of their growing REGZA Series. They're all 3D-capable and will upscale your 2D content to 3D for you. The first bunch are being called the Cell Regza Slim and will come in 46 and 55-inch models, while the other one is just a flagship 55-incher. They all feature a 240Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits of brightness, a 9,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a whopping 3TB HDD storage. Of course, these Cell-powered HDTVs pack WiFi with DLNA support along with up to 8 HDDs if you really have that many. The flagship 55X2 model will cost ¥1,000,000 ($11,430 USD) and will be available in October. The Slim models will be available for ¥600,000 ($6,858 USD) and ¥700,000 ($8,000 USD) for the 46 and 55-inch models, respectively.

Next up are the more affordable HDTVs from Toshiba - part of their Regza line-up as well. There's five of them in total, two in the Regza F1 Series (46 and 55-inch models) and three in the ZG1 Series (42, 47, and 55-inch models. They all feature a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) LED-backlit display, a 240Hz refresh rate, WiFi with DLNA support, four HDMI ports, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and possible HDD storage. The F1 Series will be available sometime next month (August) and they'll cost ¥328,800 ($3,760 USD) and ¥428,500 ($4,900 USD), respectively. The ZG1 Series will be available in October for ¥279,800 ($3,200 USD), ¥350,000 ($4,000 USD), and ¥446,000 ($5,100 USD), respectively.

Well, Toshiba Japan has just unveiled 15 new LCD HDTVs. First up is the REGZA Z1 Series which comes in 37, 42, 47, and 55-inch models. They all boast a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, edge-lit LED technology, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an SD / SDHC card slot, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, 10W x 2 speakers, four HDMI ports, a REGZA link, and Windows 7. They'll retail for $2,700, $3,300, $4,200, and $5,200, respectively, in Japan this June. Sadly, the HDDs are sold separately.

Next up is the REGZA RE1 Series which comes in 19, 22, 26, 32, 37, 42, 47, and 55-inch models. The smaller four models boast a measly 1,366 x 768 resolution, while the larger four models sport a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution. All of them feature edge-lit LED technology, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, REGZA link, four HDMI ports, a USB port, an Ethernet port, and video on demand support. Again, the HDDs are sold separately and the four larger models boast the same "clear" LED panel that the REGZA Z1 Series has. The 19-inch model will cost you $850, while the largest and highest-end model will cost you $4,600. These will start being released next month (May) with a full availability expected in August.

The last Series they announced is the REGZA HE1, which comes in 19, 22, and 26-inch models. They all boast the same 1,366 x 768 resolution, edge-lit LED technology, REGZA link, two HDMI / USB / Ethernet ports, video on demand support, a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 500GB HDD. These will be available for $1,200, $1,300, and $1,400, respectively, and launch in July in Japan.

Toshiba has just announced LED-backlit HDTVs as a part of their REGZA SV Series of HDTVs. These TV sets have: a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 200Hz technology, an intelligent light sensor, DLNA support, Dolby Volume which will level out inconsistent sound, four HDMI ports, and SD / USB slots. These TVs will also feature Resolution+ technology which will upgrade SD quality TV to a Full HD 1080p resolution as much as possible. These TVs will come in 46 and 55-inch models and will be available later this month for an unspecified price.

This is the ZX8000 (SV670 in the US) LED-backlit REGZA LCD HDTV with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It has a bunch of features that I know just about nothing about, so here you go. "These also pack the latest edition of Super Resolution+ upconverting, ClearScan 240Hz motion and fifth generation Pixel Pure image processing." "A few features anyone can appreciate are InstaPort HDMI for lagless switching between inputs and AutoView calibration for room lighting conditions. Add-on hard disk drives are also available, and the ZX8000 models are expected in late June / early July for 46- and 55-inch models topping out around 600,000 ($5,944 [USD])." I do know that 240Hz is supposed to get rid of blur and that a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio is supposed to give you great, bright colours. I still think that this TV is still overpriced but 240Hz is fairly new technology to hit TVs, so I guess it's understandable.
