Sprint Announcing a Groundbreaking New Device Tomorrow, Let's Hope It's the HTC Supersonic

Yes, the title says it all. Sprint USA's announcing something extremely big so what else could it really be. It has to be the HTC Supersonic which is essentially what everyone's been waiting for. It's the HTC HD2 with Android, the Sense UI, and WiMAX. Maybe they'll be able to replace the iPhone in their commercials for this handset.

ICD Ultra Tablet Spotted In India As the EAFT Magic Tile

The ICD Ultra tablet has just been spotted in the wild (India) and is being demoed as the EAFT Magic Tile. It's packing a 7-inch glossy touchscreen display with a 1,024 x 600 resolution, a 1.3MP webcam, 1080p capabilities, optional 3G, Bluetooth, an HDMI output, a USB port, a 3MP camera on the back, and a battery life that should last 8 hours. Of course, Android is on board and it's packing 512MB of DDR2 RAM along with a Tegra 2 chip. This tablet is pretty impressive, but it's lacking one big thing: WiFi. The price wasn't mentioned so let's hope it'll be something that most people can afford.

Samsung To Announce Galaxy S Android Phone, 1GHz CPU and Super AMOLED Display!

With CTIA kicking off, some more rumours have started but these one's are likely true. Samsung looks like they're set to announce "Smart Life", a 1GHz CPU which will be their new standard among their high-end smartphones, and more Super AMOLED news. The best part? Samsung will reportedly be announcing the Samsung Galaxy S which will be an Android phone with the Super AMOLED display and Samsung 1GHz ARM Cortex A8-based CPU. Let's hope it looks good as well.

Toshiba Unveils G300, E200, C100, and CV100 LCD HDTVs

Toshiba announced a bunch of new LCD HDTVs today, including the G300, E200, C100, and CV100. The G300 will come in 40, 46, and 54.6-inch models and they'll feature Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution along with 120Hz technology. The E200 comes in 31.5, 37.6, and 40-inch models also sports Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution along with four HDMI ports and a PC input - but it's lacking 120Hz technology.

The C100 and the CV100 both sport 720p resolution and come in 18.5, 21.6, 26, and 31.5-inch models. They're both the same TV set but the CV100 adds an integrated DVD player. They'll all launch this month and all the price tags are listed below.

Motorola i1 Announced, First Android Handset with iDEN and PTT, Headed to Sprint In the Summer

Motorola has finally announced the i1 Android phone which will be the first Android phone that has push-to-talk functionality and iDEN connectivity. It's headed to Sprint and you may also know it as the Opus One. This handset features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera with a dual-LED flash, WiFi / Bluetooth 2.0 support, Opera Mini 5 (with Flash Lite), and Android 1.5 under the MOTOBLUR skin. This one will be available in the Summer time so you still have to wait a little bit.

Dual-SIM Handsets, the LG GX500 and the Alcatel C60, On the Way

Two dual-SIM phones are set to launch very soon, it's the LG GX500 (above) and the Alcatel C60 (below). The GX500 handset packs a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, Bluetooth, a 3MP AF camera, an FM radio, and a 1,500mAh battery. We don't know much about the C60 but it does feature a Nokia-like styling and a camera with a numeric keypad. The price and availability for either phone hasn't been mentioned yet.

Samsung Wave, the Bada Phone, Priced At €429 On Amazon Germany

The first Bada phone from Samsung has just been priced thanks to Amazon Germany and, yes, I'm talking about the Samsung Wave. This handset packs a pretty nice spec sheet that rivals Google's Nexus One. It's priced at around €429, which is about $579 USD, unlocked. Unfortunately, we still don't know much about the OS right now so maybe early adopters will want to wait until the end of this week. Anyways, check it out on Amazon Germany here.

We knew it was coming soon and the Samsung Corby Pro (B5310) looks like it's now available in Canada via Rogers. They're offering it for $69.99 on a 3-year contract so you can decide if that's worth it. The phone features a 2.8-inch touchscreen QVGA display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3MP camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, and a microSD card slot. Another Android tablet has just surfaced and this one is being called the Enso zenPad. This tablet is actually shipping right now and starts at $155 USD - an extra $25 for global shipping. It's packing a 5-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, 8GB of internal storage, a Samsung 6410 667MHz CPU, GPS / WiFi support, optional 3G for an extra $35, and a couple of USB ports. Asus Eee PC 1001PX Netbook Sporting Atom N450 and Windows XP / 7 Options

There's not a lot different between this new Asus Eee PC 1001PX netbook compared to their other netbooks. The main difference is that this netbook is packing an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU and a nice carbon-fiber body. Other specs include three USB 2.0 ports, WiFi b/g, a memory card reader, 1GB of RAM, and a 0.3MP webcam. You'll be able to get your choice of Windows XP or 7 on this netbook. The Windows XP model will be sporting a 160GB HDD with a 3-cell battery and it'll cost you €241 ($326 USD). The Windows 7 model will be sporting a 250GB HDD with a 6-cell battery and it'll cost you €300 ($406 USD).

T-Mobile UK Now Taking Orders For the XPERIA X10 Too!

T-Mobile UK looks like they're now taking orders for the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. Like the Desire, you can get it for £15 monthly on a 2-year contract but you'll have to cough up £191 ($287 USD). You'll be able to get it for £35 monthly as well, so that could be what you decide to choose. This one's shipping out in 10 days time so check it out here.

T-Mobile UK Now Taking Orders For the HTC Desire; Black Prototype Spotted Online

T-Mobile UK looks like they're already offering the HTC Desire online which is great news for those folks. It's available for free on contract but it'll take 7 days to ship. You can get it for free for £35 ($53 USD) monthly on a 2-year contract or you can get it for £129 ($194 USD) on a £15 ($22 USD) monthly contract. Go and get one here. The video below was spotted online and it's a Desire in black but it's just a prototype. I'd get a black model right away.

AT&T Launching Android-Based Dell Aero Along With the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus

What you see above will be AT&T's second Android phone and it's essentially the Dell Mini3i. AT&T will be launching it as the Dell Aero and it'll be launching with either Android 1.5 or 1.6 with a custom UI over top of it. The price and launch date hasn't been mentioned yet so hopefully we'll find it out soon.

AT&T is set to launch both the Palm Pre Pus and the Pixi Plus in the next couple of months. These models will be the same ones that Verizon is offering but, of course, they'll have GSM / HSDPA connectivity. The Pre Plus will be available for $149.99 and the Pixi Plus will be available for $49.99. Of course that includes a 2-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate.

A couple of new Viiv products are set to invade a Best Buy near you - if you live in the US that is. This includes the S5, S7 (above), and the X70EX. The S5 is a tablet that features a 5-inch touchscreen display and is going for $549.99; the premium model goes for $799.99. The S7 which sports a 7-inch swiveling touchscreen display and a keyboard is going for $579.99 while the premium model goes for $649.99. LG Remarq LN240 Handset Hitting Sprint On May 9th

Two phones were unveiled by LG and the phone on the left is the Remarq LN240. This phone is said to be hitting Sprint in the future but the price and exact release date weren't mentioned. All that we know about it right now is that it sports a slide-up QWERTY keyboard.

Update: According to Engadget Mobile, this handset is eco-friendly and features a 1.3MP camera, Stereo Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot. It'll be available for $19.99 on a 2-year contract starting on May 9th!

Sony Vaio E Series Notebooks Hitting the UK In May, Core i3 / i5 Options

Sony has just shown off their latest series of notebooks and it's their E Series. They'll consist of the 14-inch VPCEA1Z1E and the 17-inch VPCE1S1E. They'll be sporting Core i3 and i5 CPUs, respectively, and they'll both have Blu-ray options available. Both of these notebooks are expected to hit the UK this May with a worldwide availability following afterward. All you basically need to know is below.

Hallods Shows Off eT4300 PMP in Japan, 720p Capabilities

Hallods has introduced a new PMP, the eT4300, and it's now available in Japan. This PMP has a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, an SD / SDHC card slot, support for a bunch of different file formats, 8GB of internal storage, and 720p output capabilities. The price hasn't been mentioned so maybe someone will go out and find out.

LG VS750 Smartphone Destined For Verizon

LG looks their finally set to launch a smartphone in the US and it will be the VS750. This handset will be packing a 3.2-inch WVGA (480 x 800) resolution resistive touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, WiFi b/g, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a microSD card slot, and Windows Mobile 6.5. Look out for this handset to hit Verizon in April - it could get official sometime this week. This will not be upgradeable to WinPho 7.
