Samsung to Launch Sub $100 Android Handsets; Sprint to Launch AMOLED-Packed Samsung Handset Next Year
Sprint's David Owens has just spoken out and mentioned that next year they will be launching a Samsung handset with an AMOLED display. Like what we heard above, we have no clue what it could be. I do guess that it will be something high-end since AMOLED basically tells us that. We'll see what happens next year.
Update: According to Engadget, Sprint will actually be launching a Samsung handset in Q4 of this year with an AMOLED display. So there's something to look forward to.

Android to Get Opera Mobile With Flash and Google Gears Support; Creative Zii to Be "Opera-Powered" Too
Creative's Zii is shaping up to be pretty damn great. But, to make things even better, it looks like it will be "the first to run a specialized version of Opera." This is great news and could mean Opera Unite Tools, widgets, etc. Opera Mobile would also be a great addition to all of this!

Logitech Announces G500 Gaming Mouse and G330 Headset
Logitech also announced their G330 headset. This headset will be Mac and PC compatible and is expected to launch later this month for $50 USD. This headset has a different style, rocking the behind-the-head band to reduce the pressure on your head. It's definitely made for those long gaming nights.

StarCraft II Delayed Until 2010 -- Blizzard Puts the Blame on Battle.net, Activision Now Expecting Less Money This Year
However, there is good news. Apparently, the StarCraft II delay will not impact Blizzard's launch schedule. This means that they will be launching two games next year. As of right now, it's not known what game it will be, but I'm hoping that it's Diablo III.

Microsoft Zune HD Gets Praised For Crisp Display, Browser, and Sound Quality
Other things to look forward to in the Zune HD was the sound quality, which was, of course, an improvement over the last Zune. After reading CNet's full review and some brief though last night, I still don't know whether I should choose this or the still unannounced iPod Touch. The iPod Touch has the App Store and that might be enough to pull me in - because the camera isn't a deal-breaker for me.

Sprint Confirms HTC Touch Pro 2 Details, Launching For $299; Verizon Touch Pro 2 on Video, 3.5mm Headphone Jack, Slight Branding Change
Verizon wasn't going to be shown up by Sprint. Verizon has just launched a 30-second YouTube video (below) of the upcoming HTC Touch Pro 2 aka HTC XV6875. The branding on the front got a little bit changed up though. The HTC branding is now just above the four hard buttons, instead of in the corner - similar to Sprint's handset above. It made way to Verizon's branding, which is dead smack in the top middle of the handset. Oh yeah, the Touch Pro 2 for Verizon does have a 3.5mm headphone jack - for you music lovers out there. Take a look at the video below for more information.
