Sony Updates 13-Inch Vaio Z Notebook With a Core i7 CPU and Full HD Display!

Labels: , , , , ,

Sony has decided to update their Vaio Z notebook a little bit. You can now get said notebook with an Intel Core i7 CPU if you'd like. They've also jammed a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) display on there and it's free from now until July 1st. This is definitely a pretty sweet deal seeing how this could be the first 13-inch notebook out there with a Full HD display. If I had $2,000 just lying around, I would definitely bite. If you're interested, check it out here.

Four LG Handsets Leak Out; the C710 (Ally Without the QWERTY), T300, T310, and A130

Labels: , , , , ,

All of this is starting to get confusing now. First it was the Verizon LG Ally which people were expecting to be the "Aloha" and now it's the C710 (here) that has just leaked out - which is also nothing like the "Aloha." The "Aloha" is expected to sport a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera, and a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU but that's not what we're seeing today. The LG C710 has leaked out (above) and it's basically the Ally without a QWERTY keyboard - it's headed to Brazil.

The T300 (here and pictured above) and the T310 (here) from LG have leaked out as well. The T300 is said to feature a touchscreen display along with a 2MP camera and could launch as the Cookie Light. The T310 (below) is sporting a slightly larger display (than the T300) but that's really all we know about it right now. Last, and least, is the A130 (here) which is another one of LG's flip phones. This will have EDGE connectivity along with an FM radio.

Verizon To Phase Out the DROID Incredible Soon? -- Probably Not.

Labels: , , , , ,

Someone has just spotted this [somewhat] bad news. The DROID Incredible has just made the phase-out list at Verizon which could make some people sad. The Incredible was a great device, but it's been plagued by shortages and it took a while for it to get rooted. On to other things though because the DROID X and the DROID 2 are on the way so you'll be able to cheer up in the near future. The DROID X is slightly larger than the DROID Incredible but it'll likely sport a 1GHz OMAP CPU which is slightly faster than the 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.

Update: According to a random tipster (commenter below), the Droid Incredible actually won't be phased out and is expected to stay on Verizon until Q2 2011. They also mentioned that the smartphone will be getting an update to version 2.2 "Froyo" on July 9th.

A new all in one PC from HP has just been introduced and it's the 200xt. This is like their 200t all in one PC but it's sporting this year's Intel Core CPUs so that's definitely a welcomed upgrade. This is just about the only new PC they released today but they did update almost their whole desktop line-up. They've updated their Pavilion and Slimline Series to bring AMD Sempron / Phenom / Core i5 CPU options, while the Pavilion Elite has been upgraded for Core i7 options. Everything you need to know is on LogicHP.
