Someone On Craigslist Is Trying To Sell the HTC Paradise and Fiesta, On Its Way To AT&T?

Labels: , , , , , ,

Well, finally! The handset above is that handset we saw hit the FCC way back in May. Apparently, the picture above is the HTC Paradise and it's the PC70110. Someone on Craigslist is actually trying to sell this smartphone and it's being touted as an "AT&T sample." The seller also has another phone, the HTC Fiesta, and we actually heaven't heard anything about this phone for about a year. The Fiesta is pictured below and may not even hit the market. It looks like a phone that Huawei made and not HTC. Oh well

Rogers Announces That They're Getting the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate In "the Coming Weeks"

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Rogers has just announced that they're going to be launching their Galaxy S variant and they chose the Samsung Captivate. Of course the specs are the exact same as the Galaxy S Vibrant so the only way you'll be able to differentiate the two is by the way it looks. It'll feature a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 5MP AF camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, and Android 2.1 with the Touchwiz UI. Now the only thing I'm wondering is if Telus will be getting their own Galaxy S - even though they are getting the HTC Desire.

The iPod refresh will be coming on a Tuesday in September which isn't surprising so we'll likely see it then along with some other incremental updates. There's also another rumour going around that Apple is working on a 7-inch iPad. The rumour goes on and says that the iPad may sport a Retina Display and could sport an "insane" resolution like 1,500 x ,1920. Front-facing cameras were mentioned as well. Apparently, the next iPhone could launch in January of next year but we don't know what kind (CDMA or an iPhone 4 update). There's also word on bumpers being upgraded - whatever that means.
