Labels: , , , ,

It looks like the Samsung NB30 Touch is about to be available in the UK. We've already seen this in Italy, so it's about time that it hit the UK. A couple of online e-tailers have them up such as More Computers and Samsung Laptops but they appear to be "Out of Stock" right now. However, in a couple of days that should change. They're price at £383.31 ($593 USD) and £304 ($470 USD), respectively.

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

The latest rumour states that Toshiba is looking to update their NB305 netbook so that it'll be outfitted with the newer Intel Atom N455 CPU. This will give it support for DDR3 RAM, which will give it a slight speed increase. The launch date is unknown right now, neither is the price.

Update: Engadget has just pointed out that the HP Mini 210 netbook will also be getting updated to feature the Intel Atom N455 CPU as well. This and the NB305 is expected to launch for €350 ($467 USD).

Update: Netbooked has just spotted the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 netbook over in the UK with the Intel Atom N455 CPU. It looks like a number of netbooks will be getting the upgrade, which is great news. LG GR700 Sports Slide-Out QWERTY Keyboard, Headed to AT&T

Labels: , , , ,

We heard about the LG GR700 way back in October of last year and it looks like it's definitely not sporting a numeric keypad. Instead it's clearly sporting a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and we know that it's headed to AT&T as well - thanks to the branding on the handset. This handset packs a touchscreen display (probably 3-inches) with a 240 x 400 resolution along with the S-Class UI. It'll like be headed to AT&T, but the price isn't mentioned. I'm assuming that it'll be cheaper than the LG eXpo, but it's not for sure.

Vodafone Getting the Nexus One On April 30th; Verizon Not Getting It Anymore, Get the DROID Incredible Instead

Labels: , , , , , , ,

Vodafone UK has just announced that they'll be releasing the Google Nexus One on April 30th, which is this Friday. This is great news especially considering that the DROID Incredible won't be hitting the UK. Of course, it'll be available for free on select contracts.

Google has just updated their site to tell you that there's no point in getting the Nexus One since the DROID Incredible will be launched in the near future - April 29th. The DROID Incredible is exactly like the Nexus One except for the difference design, of course, and the improved 8MP camera. There's really nothing to cry about here. Google has already confirmed that they are not launching the Nexus One on Verizon.
