AT&T Now Selling the HTC Pure With WinMo 6.5 Pre-Intalled For $149

Labels: , , , , , ,

The first WinMo 6.5 has reportedly been released on AT&T already, the HTC Pure - which is essentially the Touch Diamond 2. Keep in mind that it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you might want to wait for the Imagio or the sexy HTC HD2 / Leo. It's not available on the website yet, but it is available in stores for $149.99 USD on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate and $349.99 USD contract-free, which isn't that bad. However, you do have to to get a data plan which costs at least $30 a month.

T-Mobile USA Launching the Nokia 2330 In a Couple of Weeks

Labels: , , ,

It looks like T-Mobile USA will be launching another low-end Nokia handset, the Nokia 2330. If you want the complete spec sheet, just check out this GSM Arena link - it's nothing to be proud about. It'll launch in a couple of weeks, likely for free since it's retailing for just 50 Euros ($75 USD) overseas - unlocked.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 Pictured Again, Still Looking Sexy

Labels: , , , , ,

Gizmodo just got their hands on a couple more photos of the upcoming BlackBerry 9700 (essentially the Bold 2). This smartphone should launch on T-Mobile and it will be their first 3G BlackBerry. As you can see, this smartphone will be rocking the optical trackpad and the rumoured specs are as follows: a 480 x 360 resolution display, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE / dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a 3.2MP AF camera, Bluetooth support, and BlackBerry OS 5.0.

Even though I won't be scooping one up, it's a really nice looking handset. It's also rumoured to be launching on November 11th.

Best Buy Set To Launch a Bunch of Devices This Holiday Season -- All Leaked Out

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

A new Best Buy leak shows off what they have in store for us during this holiday season. The above photo is not that important to me, so you can read that for yourself; the more interesting picture is below which outlines their future devices.

  • Nokia Booklet netbook — October 25th launch, and can be activated on AT&T
  • Sprint HTC Hero — launching October 11th with a presale going on now
  • Sprint Palm Pixi — launch date TBD
  • Verizon Storm II — launch date TBD
  • Verizon Android device — launch date TBD
  • T-Mobile CLIQ — launch date TBD (but we obviously know it’s shipping after October 19th up until general release November 2nd)
  • “New BlackBerry devices across multiple carriers” — launch date TBD
  • There will be a “host of devices launch in late October and November for all carriers.” Multiple Android launches across multiple carriers and “new technology which doesn’t exist today.”

The Palm Pixi was rumoured to be launching on October 20th, but that's probably false. The Verizon Android device could be the Motorola Droid / Tao / Sholes, but I'm not certain. We now know that the T-Mobile CLIQ will be launching on November 2nd - with the pre-orders starting on October 19th. The BlackBerries could involve the Curve 8530 and the BlackBerry 9700 (Bold 2). Are you excited?

BlackBerry Essex and BlackBerry Dakota (Magnum) Pictured Again, With a Bit More Details

Labels: , , , , ,

RIM looks like they're working on the BlackBerry Essex and the BlackBerry Dakota - formerly known as the Magnum. We already know that the BlackBerry Essex is essentially a CDMA Tour with WiFi, but we're also seeing that it will also sport an optical trackpad. Other improvements are said to be an improved camera, and it could be launching in early 2010.

The Dakota, on the other hand, looks like it will have a full QWERTY keypad and a touchscreen display / optical trackpad as well - the almighty touchscreen Bold. This would definitely be pretty sweet. To make things a bit more surprising, RIM looks like they'll be implementing a liquid camera lens into this BlackBerry, which I know nothing about. If you want to know about the liquid lens just check it out here.

That's all we have for now, so just wait around.

HTC Dragon To Run Android and Have 1GHz CPU

Labels: , , , , , ,

According to the latest unconfirmed news - and what could possibly be fake - a new Android handset seems to be in the works by HTC. Dubbed the HTC Dragon, it appears to have a 1GHz CPU. The only other Android handset rumoured to have the Snapdragon 1GHz CPU is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 and it is at the top of my top 10 phone list. Of course, this handset - if real - will ship with the latest version of Android. Keep in mind that this could be a fake, so just take it with a grain of salt, as usual. This would be pretty awesome though.

So much for that rumoured December launch date. It looks like LittleBigPlanet PSP will be launching on November 17th in North America and the official box is on the right. There's not much left to say, but you should mark it on your calendar if you're interested.

Labels: , , , ,

It looks like the wait is over. Starting on Saturday, some European retail stores already had the 250GB PS3 Slim in stock and they were ready to be sold. Unfortunately, we don't know a price on these bad boys, but we're thinking it's around the same price as the one that we saw on Amazon - so around £285 ($455 USD). Go and get yours now, if you live in Europe.
