Toshiba's Roadmap Leaks Future Devices: TG02, TG03, K01, K02, and L01
Last but not least it's the Toshiba L01. It is said to be a WinMo 6.5 device with the same 1GHz CPU that all of these Toshiba devices have. It has a 7-inch display, a detachable QWERTY keyboard, HSPA support, and what looks to be a stand of some sort. Since the L01 has such a large screen it could turn out to be an MID, so it's not a phone per say.
These devices look hot, so you can scroll up to double-check the roadmap to see when your favourite device will be available. I'm really excited that they all pack the same 1GHz CPU. The TG line-up looks amazing and I truly can't wait for all of these devices to be available. Thumbs up for Toshiba!!

List of Companies Making Your Next iPhone
While it may look like a solid list, it looks like most of this stuff is just so-outdated. A 3.2MP camera after 2-years? I think they should've upgraded it to at least a 5MP sensor. A lot of people on Engadget are currently bad-mouthing the iPhone's hardware specs because they seem to be out-dated. We'll just have to see if these hardware specs are in-line with the final device.

Samsung S8000 Leaks Again; This Time Running Android!!!
It's been a couple of weeks since we last saw the Samsung S8000 leak and today is a big, juicy day for this handset. Euroset.ru already has the S8000 up for pre-order for 470 euros, but the official release date or price has not been announced. Anyways, the Samsung S8000 has the same 5MP camera with autofocus and a dual LED flash from before, but this time we have a full spec sheet.
The 12mm thin Samsung S8000 will have a 3.1-inch AMOLED display with a WVGA resolution, FM radio, DivX playback, 2GB internal memory, a microSD slot, a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, 3G support, WiFi, aGPS, Bluetooth 2.1, and has USB connectivity. Possibly the best thing about this phone could be its OS. Android!! It will sport a new Android UI though, since it will have some 3D UI flavour to the mix.
I'm certainly excited for this device, but I wish it had a physical QWERTY keyboard. I'm willing to adapt as long as the touchscreen is on par with the iPhone's though. This looks like a sweet phone, I'm definitely putting this on my list for now.

Sony's OLED Walkman Gets Dated and Priced
Finally! We've seen it shown off at CES and we finally have the official news from Sony. So, the Sony NWZ-X1000 Walkman - with the OLED and all - will be available on April 25 in Japan. The 16GB model will be available for 40,000 yen ($400 USD) and the 32GB model will be 50,000 yen ($500 USD). Both of these models will be available in black or red, but unfortunately there still hasn't been an official announcement of when it will be available in US or Europe. For a so-called iPod Touch killer it seems too expensive. The spec sheet is decent, but that price tag is way too high.

MSI Wind U123 Notebook Line-Up; GX403 Gaming Laptop
The MSI GX403 was also announced today and it is a gaming laptop. It has a 14-inch display (no word on if it will be HD though), a Centrino 2 Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 130M graphics card, a 500GB HDD, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, a Blu-ray player, an HDMI port and WiFi. There is no word on when the laptop will be available and for what price. It'll probably have a US release, but no one knows when it will be. It has decent specs and a Blu-ray drive, so it could be a bit expensive.

StumbleUpon Ditches eBay; Goes Back To Its Founder
eBay bought StumbleUpon for $75 million USD 2 years ago and now they have split. StumbleUpon will now be standing on their own two feet without the help of eBay. StumbleUpon will now be under the power of Garrett Smith who is the founder of the service. I've never used StumbleUpon, but I plan to... soon. I don't really know what it's about so I can't really tell you much about it.
On a side note, I wonder if Skype will also be sold back to its original founders. Could this start a new trend for eBay?

Android "Cupcake" Early-SDK Now Available
Other changes are equally major and add video recording along with playback outside of YouTube, Bluetooth stereo audio and a much faster web browser with support for copying and pasting text. Many user interface elements have also received minor updates, and developers can now readily create their own widgets in addition to those that have already come with Android.
Keep in mind that this early-look SDK is not the final version and "Cupcake" could first be introduced at T-Mobile's special event on April 21, later this month.
Android is shaping up to be a competitor in the Mobile OS world, but I'm waiting for the netbook version because an Android phone has yet to come out here in Canada.
