After many months of waiting Amazon is now reportedly shipping the Asus Eee Keyboard PC! It's going for $599 if you want to order one (here) and you should have already memorized the specs by now. We've been hearing about this keyboard for a long time, so nothing in there should surprise you. Not even the 5-inch multitouch capacitive display running Windows XP Home.

Amazon (here) looks like they have just put a page for the upcoming Asus Eee Keyboard PC, without a picture. It looks like it'll be priced at $599, which is quite a bit considering what you get. Last year's Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 16GB SSD, a 5-inch multitouch display with a 480 x 800 resolution, WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth 2.1 support, an Ethernet / HDMI port, three USB 2.0 ports, and Windows XP Home. It's up for pre-order and it's reportedly shipping on April 23rd.

Although it's been delayed over and over again, this new promo video (below) was just spotted on YouTube. It's the Asus Eee Keyboard PC and it should actually go on sale later this month for right around $500 - $600.

At this point the Asus Eee Keyboard PC has been delayed a couple of times and the guts have changed a bit as well. It made another appearance at CES this year and Asus has mentioned that it'll be available in February for somewhere between $499 and $599. Unfortunately, they're sticking with an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU (last year's Atom) and it'll also have 1GB of RAM, a 16GB SSD (up to a 32GB). The battery is said to last 5 hours and there's a 5-inch touchscreen on the right side that'll be running whatever OS you choose. I think we lost our lust for it now.

Well, surprisingly enough, Asus has just delayed the launch of their Eee Keyboard PC again! This time it's scheduled to launch in early 2010 with Windows 7 and a new capacitive touchscreen display. They've mentioned that touch input was more accurate with a capacitive touchscreen display rather than the resistive one that it used to be built with.

Early 2010... great. Make us wait even longer. Asus pulling that old Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 hat again.

Update: According to Netbooked, there will also be a stylus tucked somewhere in the keyboard, which I actually didn't know about. They also point out that there'll be a non-metallic model with integrated WiFi support. Sadly, they report a Q1 2010 release date though.

Back in August, we saw the Asus Eee Keyboard PC at the FCC, but now they have more details for us. Well, the most interesting news here is that the Keyboard PC will have a UWB (Ultra Wide Broadband) port so that you can "transmit audio / video wirelessly. Up to 720P quality / within a 5-meter range, or 10 meters for non-video." The transmitter and receiver actually has another HDMI output, two USB 2.0 ports, and a mini USB port.

Everything else we already know about: an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, a 16GB / 32GB SSD, WiFi 802.11n, VGA / HDMI output, three USB 2.0 ports, integrated stereo speakers, Bluetooth support, a 5-inch touchscreen display with a 480 x 800 resolution, and Windows XP. However, we're willing to bet that there'll be a Windows 7 option as well. It's expected to launch sometime this month, but don't be surprised if it falls back to early next month.

The rumour proved to be true, Asus have just confirmed that their Eee Keyboard PC will be available next month (October) in North America and Europe. The price hasn't been mentioned yet, but we've heard it'll be in the $400 to $500 price range. In case you're interested - because you should be - the Asus Eee Keyboard PC has: a 5-inch touchscreen display, an Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 16GB / 32GB SSD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth support, HDMI output, and wireless UWB HDMI. The OS hasn't been completely confirmed, so we could see Windows 7 as well an Moblin on here.

Finally! The long-awaited Asus Eee Keyboard PC has just been spotted at the FCC, so it looks like that October launch is looking pretty solid right now. "Interestingly, the test reports indicate the presence of a UWB radio in addition WiFi and Bluetooth, so it looks like we'll see the planned wireless HDMI model even after the specs pretty much hit the skids earlier this summer." Any other details are still unknown, but if you're looking for the wireless HDMI model you better start praying.

Asus has just mentioned that they are looking to launch three new products this Fall. This includes the Nvidia Ion-based Eee Box nettop, the Eee Top all-in-one PC ET2002T, and the long-awaited Eee keyboard PC. The details on the nettop are still unknown at the time, but it should launch for around $300 USD, so we should probably find an Intel Atom CPU inside. The 20-inch Eee Top PC will be launching for around $670 and the Eee keyboard PC will launch for somewhere between $400 and $500.

If you didn't read the title yet, prepare to be disappointed. The Asus Eee Keyboard PC that was supposed to be available by the end of this month is now delayed until August. Not much is known about the launch. We still don't know which model will be available at launch - Windows XP or Moblin or both? And we still don't know the exact price tag that will be pegged on this well-thought out designed keyboard PC. But, we  are hearing that it could be around $400 USD. We'll see what happens when August comes around.

This could be a lengthy post, but I'll try to shorten it as much as I can. Sit tight!

First up is the Asus Eee PC T91. If you remember, the T91 has: an 8.9-inch resistive touchscreen display, an Intel Atom 1.33GHz Z520 CPU, up to 2GB of RAM, a 16GB SSD, and will run on Windows XP Home. This baby is going to start shipping today! Keep an eye out for it.

Next up, it's the Asus Eee PC 1101HA netbook. It has: an 11.6-inch display, an Intel Atom 1.33GHz Z520 CPU, Intel's GMA graphics, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB HDD. It will start shipping in Europe by the end of the month for €399 ($520 USD). It will be bundled with Windows XP and will be available in black or white. The 1101HGo is the 3G capable model of the 1101HA, but there has been no word on when it will be available.

Last, but not least, it's the Asus Eee Keyboard PC. This time, it's rocking Moblin - Intel's Linux-based OS - instead of the traditional Windows XP that we've seen time and time again. The specs stay the same: an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 32 / 64GB of SSD storage, and possibly Wireless HDMI. The Keyboard PC is expected to launch by the end of the month for around $400 USD. There has been no word if the Moblin OS will be an option at launch. We've seen it before (here and here), so it's nothing entirely new. Asus has just announced that the Eee keyboard PC will be on sale by the end of June. It's not that much of a wait, so don't stress out. Anyways, the Eee keyboard PC will have: Intel's Atom 1.6GHz N270 CPU, a 5-inch display on the right side with an 800 x 480 resolution, a 32GB SSD, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, stereo speakers, a mic, and will be running Windows XP.

The first time I saw this keyboard PC, I questioned the 5-inch display because it was on the right side. I figured it'd be better to have the display in the center, kind of like how Logitech's gaming keyboards are. But, since the touchscreen will also act as a trackpad, it's starting to make more sense to me.

This keyboard PC will only weigh around 2 pounds, so it's not heavy at all. The price still hasn't been mentioned, but it could be a bit expensive because of the 32GB SSD.

Apple move aside because at CeBIT this year, Asus looks like they're pulling out the stops. Who needs to pay over $2,000 USD for an iMac when you can get the Asus Eee Top all-in-one PC for just $600 USD. You can now pre-order these online. If you're still interested, the Asus Eee Top will have a 15.6-inch screen, a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, an integrated webcam and will run on Windows XP. Amazon says that they will be available on March 9, but like i said, you can pre-order them right now. Gizmodo points out that "if 15.6 inches is a bit too small for you, rumor has it that your patience could be rewarded with a 22-inch version coming out later."

Asus will continue their pressure on Apple by releasing the Asus Eee PC 1008HA. If you want to see how thin the netbook is from the side then just click on this link. It is clearly a MacBook Air competitor. The netbook manages to stay about 1-inch thick, weighs only 2.4 pounds and has a 92 percent-sized keyboard.

Meet the Nintendo Wii Asus Eee Sticks. Clearly a Wii rival, but obviously won't be as popular. The Asus Eee Sticks were available for viewing at CeBIT this year. They are motion sensing sticks, similar to the Wii's sticks. Judging from the picture, it looks like they were showing off some tennis.

I briefly talked about this Asus Eee keyboard PC over a month ago and it looks like there are some more details regarding this peripheral. The Eee keyboard PC will be on sale this May or June. They will be going for $400 USD and $600 USD for the wired model and the wireless model, respectively. Finally, the specs have been revealed. With the Eee keyboard PC you get a 5-inch touchscreen display, a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 16 or 32GB SSD, WiFi, Bluetooth, wireless HDMI, 2 USB slots, VGA, HDMI and audio in/out. These are pretty good specs for a keyboard PC, did i mention that it won't be a pain to carry around?
