The Whole T-Mobile USA 2011 Roadmap Leaks, Plus New Devices

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Talk about an exclusive post. This Is My Next is back at it again. This time they're reporting just about every device that T-Mobile USA will be launching for the rest of the year; clearly, this is pretty exciting stuff. First up is June, which kicks off in a few weeks. The HTC Sensation 4G will be dropping that month - likely on the 8th - along with the Samsung Gravity Touch 2, and the "Hawk" or the Exhibit 4G. That's not all though. They'll be joined by the Huawei E587 "Wayne" which is a HSPA+ hotspot with up to 42Mbps.

On June 15th, the Samsung t499 "Tass" will be available and this could launch as the Galaxy Suit. On the 29th, the carrier will be releasing the Samsung t379"Triumph" which could actually launch as the Gravity 4. Moving on.

In July, the HTC "Doubleshot" will be kicking things off on the 6th and it could launch as the myTouch 4G Slide - cause it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The spec sheet for this one includes a 3.7-inch WVGA display and an 8MP camera. On the 15th, there's the HTC "Marvel" which is the Wildfire S. This one features a 3.2-inch display, an 800MHz CPU, and Android with the Sense UI. Next up is something from RIM. Apparently, the BlackBerry "Monza" will be available on July 27th. This one should feature a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a single-core 1.2GHz CPU, a 5MP camera, and BlackBerry OS 7 which could be just 6.1.

In August, you should expect the BlackBerry Bold Touch, Apollo, and the Huawei S7. The Bold Touch (9900) was already made official a few weeks ago, while the "Apollo" is said to be the next Curve with a speedier spec sheet and the new OS. The Huawei S7 is a 7-inch tablet that should feature the Android OS (hopefully Honeycomb) with WiFi-only.

In September you can expect the Samsung "Hercules" which just leaked a few hours ago. This one could be available on Monday, September 26th for a premium price. On the 14th, you can expect the LG Flip II, while the 21st could be when the Nokia "Panda" aka the Nuron 4G launches. This one will, of course, have HSPA+ along with a 3.2-inch display, a 5MP camera, WiFi / Bluetooth support, and Symbian 3.1. This could be available for under $149 and it really should be considering what else the carrier has up their sleeves.

That's (still) not all. The website has mentioned more devices and LG reportedly has two smartphones for November 2nd. This is the Maxx and the Maxx Q which adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. For the low-end there's the Huawei U2805 and the Samsung "Jamong". There's also word on a Samsung "Dumont" but no one knows anything about it right now. There's also the LG "Gelato" Optimus II which could just be an update to the Optimus One aka the Optimus T on the carrier. Yup, another mid-end Android phone.

Last, but not least, you should look out for the HTC "Bresson" and the G-Infinity which is believed to be the next phone in T-Mobile's G Series which includes LG's [Optimus 2X] G2x. No picture of this one right now but it should be quite the superphone.

LG P930 Is a Smartphone Or Tablet With 1,280 x 720 Resolution

Labels: , , ,

There's a new device that has been making the rounds and it's reportedly the LG P930. It's unknown whether this is a smartphone or a tablet but it's likely the latter since the display is said to be sporting a 1,280 x 720 resolution. It also has GPRS/EDGE / HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity but the rest of the specs are unknown right now.

Keep in mind that Toshiba has a 4-inch display with a 1,280 x 720 so it could always be a smartphone. The naming scheme also means that it could be a smartphone as well since the Optimus 3D is the P920, while the Optimus Black is the P970. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see now.
