Verizon has just released the BlackBerry Curve 9330 in fuchsia if you're a girl that's interested in the new colour. Of course, it's not the most exciting news in the world. This smartphone features 3G / WiFi connectivity and BB OS 5.0 with an upgrade to OS 6.0 sometime in the future. It's available right now (here) for $29.99 on a 2-year contract.

Palm Pre 2 Leaks Out? Looks Exactly Like Its Predecessors.

Coming from MobiFrance is the picture you see above. No, that's not the Pre or the Pre Plus, apparently, the handset you see above is the Palm Pre 2. Obviously, it looks exactly like the older two models but inside you should find a 1GHz CPU along with WebOS 2.0 on the software side. It's kind of sad that HP / Palm decided not to make that screen at least a little bit larger, there's way too much bezel on this thing.

Last week a Q4 roadmap leaked regarding Virgin Mobile and Mobile Syrup has confirmed that the roadmap was true. What you see above tells you everything that you need to know regarding the launch date. First off, the BlackBerry Torch is already available on Virgin so that's out of the way. On October 21st, the carrier will be releasing the LG Sway and the BlackBerry Bold 9780. The Sway will be available for free on a 3-year SuperTab contract, while the price for the 9780 is still unknown. On November 9th, the carrier will release the LG Flick, while the Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500) will be available on November 12th. Both of these handsets will be available for free on the SuperTab contract. Clearly, you can expect them all soon but none of them are high-end so it's not really a big deal.

Something with the codename MB860 has just gotten certified by the WiFi Alliance and the Bluetooth SIG. Of course, this one's coming from Motorola and it's a smartphone of some sort. It should be running Android, but the version it'll be running is still unknown. The codename for this device is the Olympus which doesn't tell us much. Rumour has it that this smartphone is Motorola's Tegra 2 based smartphone but that's unconfirmed right now.

ZTE Sees the Light In Their 7-Inch Android 2.1 Based Tablet
Coming from Reuters is something fairly interesting if you're looking to pick up a tablet in the future. Apparently, ZTE is looking to make a push on the US market by unveiling the Light which is an Android-based tablet. The tablet is said to feature a 7-inch display (480 x 800 resolution), WiFi / Bluetooth support, GPS, an FM radio, a camera, GSM / WCDMA connectivity, and Android 2.1. This tablet should be cheap whenever it actually launches; hopefully it's before the end of the year.

Telus has just announced their second WP7 device. The first one was announced yesterday, the HTC 7 Surround and the second one is what you see above. Yes, it's the LG Optimus 7. This smartphone features a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 1GHz CPU, a 5MP camera with an LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 2.1 / WiFi support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. I feel that this is LG's best smartphone to date and running WP7 will be a great new start for them. The release date is still unknown at this time but it should be available in the next couple of weeks. This is all happening while Bell still has none in the pipe.
