A new smartphone from Dell could be on the way in the future. PC World mentions that this smartphone will resemble the WP7-based Dell Venue Pro, but it'll be running on Google's Android OS instead. This is great news for everyone since the Venue Pro is looking quite amazing at this point. It packs a 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED display, a slide-up QWERTY keyboard, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 5MP camera 1GB of ROM, and 1GB of RAM.

We already know that T-Mobile USA will be launching the LG Optimus T and it looks like it has been priced and dated. T-Mobile has just announced that the Android 2.2 based handset will be available on November 3rd for $29.99 on a 2-year contract. Specs include a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a microSD card slot, WiFi b/g / Bluetooth 2.1 support, a 3.2MP AF camera, and a 600MHz CPU.

Huawei Ideos X5 and X6 Smartphones Leak, Both Running Froyo and Looking Quite Good

Two new smartphones from Huawei have just reared their head out of the window today. Dubbed the Ideos X5 and X6, these smartphones will be running on Android 2.2. Rumoured specs for the X5 (above) include a 3.8-inch touchscreen display, HSPA+ connectivity, WiFi support, and a 5MP camera. 

The Ideos X6 (below), on the other hand, is rumoured to feature a 4.1-inch WVGA display, HSPA+ connectivity, WiFi / GPS support, an FM radio, an HDMI output, 2GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, and a 5MP camera that can record 720p HD video recording. Price is unknown right now but they should be shipping before the end of the year.

HTC 7 Pro Hits the FCC With CDMA Connectivity

Something quite interesting has just been spotted at the FCC and it's the WP7-based HTC 7 Pro, which will reportedly launch next year. This Windows Phone 7 device sports a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is the successor to the HTC Touch Pro 2. The FCC tells us that this smartphone has CDMA connectivity along with WiFi b/g/n / Bluetooth + EDR. Check it out at the FCC.

Sprint Releasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab On November 14th For $399, Best Buy Getting WiFi-Only Model For $500

Well, that was quick. Sprint has just announced that on November 14th they'll be launching the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab. This will cost you $399 on a 2-year contract and you'll have to pay some hefty data fees if you go down this route. Sprint has announced that for $29.99 monthly you'll get unlimited messaging and 2GB of data and $59.99 monthly will get you 5GB of data. You can pre-order this one right now if you have the money - you'll get a $50 gift card when you pre-order.

Update: Engadget has just mentioned that Best Buy will likely have a WiFi-only model of the Galaxy Tab available for $499.99. Maybe you'll want to get that one if you don't want to pay any monthly data fees. Contrary to what the leak says, the Galaxy Tab does not have a Super AMOLED display.

Motorola Olympus To Sport Tegra 2, Hitting AT&T In Q1?

So, there's a new rumour going around regarding the next big smartphone coming from Motorola. This smartphone will be running on Android and will be called the Olympus. It's reportedly headed to AT&T in Q1 of 2011 and it's said that it's "powered by Nvidia" so it should be fueled by a Tegra 2 CPU. Other rumoured specs include a 4-inch display with a "step up in resolution" which definitely sounds like great news.

About two weeks ago we heard about this smartphone and it's rumoured to be running Android 3.0.

Rogers Releases the Long Overdue Samsung Galaxy S Captivate, Limited Quantities

After months of waiting, you can now get the Samsung Captivate in Canada, via Rogers. The smartphone is available right now for $149.99 on a 2-year contract if you are eligible for a HUP until November 2nd ($179.99 if you're not) and for $549.99 contract-free. This smartphone packs a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP AF camera with 720p HD video recording, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, Bluetooth 3.0 / WiFi support, a microSD card slot, 16GB of internal storage, and Android 2.1 with the Touchwiz UI. I'm getting one later today - unless they're out of stock already.

It's not available online yet so you'll have to get out of your seat and head to your nearest store. Apparently, if you call the Call Centre you'll be able to get this for $499.99 contract-free.

Acer Liquid Metal (S120) Smartphone Hits the FCC With AT&T 3G Bands

Well, it looks like the Acer Liquid Metal (S120) smartphone has just made a step toward being official. The smartphone has just been spotted at the FCC and it's sporting GSM / EDGE 850/1900MHz and WCMA Band II and V connectivity, which is perfect for AT&T in the US and the three major carriers in Canada. Other confirmed specs include GPS / Bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n support, and Android 2.2.

This smartphone should also feature a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display along with the new Qualcomm 800MHz CPU. Well, this one should be getting official really soon so look out for it. In the mean time, check it out at the FCC.

Sprint Getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab On November 14th, Motorola i886 In January, and White EVO 4G Hitting Stores Soon

A bunch of new devices are headed to Sprint very soon, and they've been tipped thanks to this new leak. First off, the Samsung Galaxy Tab (the Samsung P1 tablet), will reportedly be available on November 14th. The mid-end Android-based Motorola i886 will also reportedly be available in a few months, on January 9th, which is pretty far away. I guess we'll be seeing it at CES 2011 if that's the case.

And yes, the white HTC EVO 4G which is already available at Best Buy will be hitting Best Buy stores on November 14th.
