Camera On This Year's iPod Touch To Be a 3.2MP Sensor?

We recently heard rumours that Apple is planning to implement a 5MP camera on the back of the iPod Touch that gets introduced this year. Well, apparently, that may be slightly off seeing how a new rumour is stating that the camera on this year's iPod Touch will actually be a 3.2MP sensor - similar to the one in the iPhone 3GS. Last year we heard about the iPod Touch gaining the camera you see above - right in the middle of the back of the PMP. We'll see what gets unveiled this September.

Fujitsu plans to hop onto the Android bandwagon according to various Japanese sites. The first Fujitsu Android-based handset is going to be hitting NTT Docomo sometime next year. The photo above is a Fujitsu handset, but it's not the one that'll be running Android - it's clearly running Windows Mobile. The smartphone they're planning to launch in Japan will reportedly also be hitting markets outside of Japan as well - no word on if Europe and / or North America are in the mix.

Dell Mini 3v Gets Caught In the Wild, Specs Unknown But It's Hitting China

Another Dell smartphone has just been spotted and it's going to be hitting China in the future. The details are unknown right now but the picture does tell us that there's a touchscreen display (unknown size), a 5MP camera on the back, and a front-facing camera. Sadly, this handset, dubbed the Mini 3v, will be a China-exclusive (at least the model you above will be) since it's sporting TD-SCDMA connectivity for China Mobile along with WAPI (instead of WiFi) and a TV tuner. I'm going to assume it'll be running Android because what else could it be running?

BlackBerry 9800 Slider Gets Spotted In the Wild, Could See a November Launch

Apparently, a RIM employee has been testing out the new BlackBerry 9800 in the wild and it's been snapped in the photo above. It could be photoshopped so we'll really just have to take this guy's word for it. RIM is looking to release this smartphone with BB OS 6.0 this November if he's to be believed.Below is the story of how he saw the smartphone, via CracyBerry.
[CrackBerry]
A few weeks ago I was at my kids event and saw some person sporting a slider....no big deal I thought until I saw him slide it and saw the BB Logo....I asked him it that was the new BB Slider and he yep. Played with it a few, it was running 6.0. No idea what build. He basically said this would be out in November. I asked how he had and he is in public relations for RIM here in Chicago. I was a huge BB fanboy and if I had not gone Android, I would be creaming. The UI was nice, very smooth and FRIGGIN Fast. Again, I mean no disrespect, I can not answer any questions, just here to say those that are staying BB will definitely enjoy.
Was going to post this weeks ago, but had no proof, and well even with my post count, some would be skeptical. However, weeks later we were together at an "event" taking pictures of our kids after wining a "game" and just saw that I had a pic of it.
It is very small, feels very solid, and again if I had not experienced Android I'd want this phone.

Apple-Branded Mini Touchscreen Leaks Out; Touch Trackpad, iWatch, New iPod Shuffle?

What you see above was leaked this morning and it's said to be Apple-branded. It's a mini-touchscreen display measure 3 x 3cm in size and could be for a bunch of different products. It could be a new iPod Touch Nano, an iPod Shuffle, an iPhone Nano (which doesn't really make sense), an iWatch, or even for a touchscreen-touchpad. The touchscreen touchpad is what I'm betting this will be for. I think that this mini-touchscreen could actually be running iOS and could be implemented somehow. We'll really just have to see what happens because it does seem a bit small to be a touchpad. Maybe it'll be something on the side.

Asus has just mentioned that their Eee PC 1215N netbook is still quite a ways away from hitting the market. This netbook is going to be sporting a 12.1-inch display, an Intel Atom dual-core D525 1.8GHz CPU, and Nvidia's Ion 2 graphics. This netbook will be one of the most powerful netbooks out there and will be shipping in the US on August 23rd. The price tag is said to be below $500 so it'll probably be $499.99 or something like that. It's pretty expensive for a netbook but let's see how things play out.
