Vodafone Spain Getting the Palm Pixi Plus On May 10th

Palm Pixi Plus will be hitting Vodafone Spain in the next week, actually exactly a week from now on May 10th. This will, of course, be available for free on select contracts and the Pre Plus seems to be missing. We don't know when Vodafone Spain will be launching the Pre Plus but it should follow shortly after.

BlackBerry Pearl 3G (9100) Hitting Canada's Bell On May 13th For $29.95

Bell will be releasing the Pearl 3G (9100) on May 13th and that shouldn't be surprising if you've been keeping up with the leaks. We now now that it will launch for $29.95 on a 3-year contract and for $329.95 contract-free. Other prices are said to be $179.95 on a 2-year contract and $279.95 on a 1-year contract. It's under two weeks away, so look out for it to hit stores soon.

Blizzard Looking To Launch StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty On July 27th

The beta for StarCraft II has already started and it recently hit the Mac. Thankfully, I just got my beta so I'll be playing it for a good few months. Anyways, Blizzard has just announced that they are going to be releasing StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty in late July (the 27th) - this Summer. It's been a long time coming and I hope that it doesn't get delayed anymore. Don't forget to save your money over the years because this is the first StarCraft II game out of the trilogy. That's when the game will start hitting retail stores around the world, including the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

INQ Chat 3G Hits FCC With North American 3G Bands For AT&T, Etc.

At this point we already know everything there is to know about the INQ Chat 3G. For those of you folks who are waiting for it, there is good news. This handset has just hit the FCC and it's, of course, got 3G bands perfect for AT&T, Rogers, Bell, and Telus in North America. Engadget suggests that maybe AT&T will launch it to battle back against Verizon's Kin One and Kin Two handset, so y'never know what's in store for the future. Check out the FCC filing here.

Acer Liquid E Hitting Canada's Rogers This June For $49.99 On a 3-Year Contract

At this point we already know that Canada's Rogers will be getting the Acer Liquid E which will be running Android 2.1. Yesterday, an inventory screenshot told us that Rogers will be launching it for $374.99 contract-free. Now we know that it's expected to launch in June for $49.99 on a 3-year contract which isn't bad for this pretty amazing handset. Hopefully we can overclock that CPU to 1GHz though - since it is a Snapdragon.

LG Rumor Touch and Lotus Elite Team Up With Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham

LG has just teamed up with two female celebrities, Eva Longoria Parker and Victoria Beckham. Eva got the Rumor Touch, which goes for $79.99 on a Sprint 2-year contract (here), while Victoria got the Lotus Elite, which goes for $29.99 on a Sprint 2-year contract (here). This latest campaign is being called the LG Fashion Touch. In the meantime, you can just sit there and stare at these two lovely ladies.

Picture Of the Nokia N8 With 32GB of Internal Storage Surfaces

This isn't exactly the biggest news out there, but it's a slow news day. Apparently, the Nokia N8 will be getting a 32GB model in the future. Of course, yesterday we heard that the N8 will also be getting a slide-out QWERTY model in the future - that will become the N98. As we already know, the N8 will come with only 16GB of internal memory, so this is double the storage - seen in the picture.

BlackBerry Bold 9650 Hits the FCC, User Manual Spotted and Expected To Hit South Korea

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 was announced last week and it has just made its way into the FCC headquarters (filing here). The User Manual was just spotted in Korean (here) so that's hinting that it will hit South Korea in the future as well. Of course, we know everything there is to know about this smartphone already. We already know that it'll be hitting Sprint USA on May 23rd while it's rumoured to hit Verizon on May 27th.

LG Launches and Prices Their LX6500 3D-Ready LCD HDTVs

LG has just introduced their LX6500 3D LCD HDTV over in Korea and it comes in 42, 47, and 55-inch models. They all boast an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a 240Hz refresh rate, and access to NetCast internet services. They're offering the 55-inch model for 5,900,000 won ($4,390 USD) over in Korea, but Europe is getting them as well. It's priced at €1,830 ($2,422 USD), €2,180 ($2,885 USD), and €3330 ($4,386 USD), respectively, which is right around the same price as they'll be hitting Korea. These are apparently cheaper than the rest of the 3DTVs out there, but don't forget that Samsung and Sony are set to launch their own 3DTVs in the near future.

Samsung SPH-M910 Hits the FCC, Running Android 2.1 and Touchwiz 3.0 -- Possibly the Moment 2

A new Samsung handset has just hit the FCC and it's the SPH-M910. Apparently, this could be the Moment 2. This handset is expected to feature Android 2.1 along with the Touchwiz 3.0. The specs aren't mentioned so we'll have to wait for those juicy details. Check out the FCC filing here.

Samsung's 20-Inch MU200 All In One PC Hitting South Korea

Samsung has just unveiled their latest all in one PC and we've seen this one before. This is the MU200 which was shown off at CES. This is set to hit South Korea and it's intended for kids. It packs a 20-inch touchscreen display, an Intel Pentium 2.2GHz T4400 CPU, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD, a Nvidia GeForce G310 GPU, Windows 7, and a kid-friendly UI. This will be priced at 1,300,000 won ($1,162 USD).

LG Confirms the Ally Handset, The Specs Remain Officially Unknown

LG has just confirmed that the Ally handset does exist, but we knew this already. The commercial has already hit the TV. The rumour states that this handset is headed to Verizon sometime this month. It's expected to have a 480 x 800 resolution display, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, and Android 2.1. We already know that it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but LG never mentioned the complete spec sheet. So, is it a smartphone or something better?

Update: According to Unwired View, this handset is expected to get released on May 20th. On May 11th, there'll be an Iron Man 2 event for the handset, so that's pretty cool.

Canada's Virgin Mobile Releases the Nokia 2730 and the LG 230 Entry-Level Handsets

It looks like Canada's Virgin Mobile has just released the Nokia 2730 and the LG 230. The 2730 features a 2-inch QVGA display with a 320 x 240 resolution, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth support, an FM radio, and a microSD card slot. This one's available for $0 on a 2-year contract or for $59.99 contract-free. The LG 230 is a flip phone and it's a CDMA handset. It has a camera, a 1.77-inch display, and a non-standard 2.5mm headphone jack. It's going for $0 on a 2-year contract and $59.99 pre-paid. Check out the Nokia phone here and the LG phone here.

Dell Unveils and Releases the Inspiron 13R, 14R, 15R, 17R, and M501R Notebooks

Dell has just unveiled a couple of new notebooks, as a part of their Inspiron line-up: 13R, 14R, 15R, 17R, and M501R. All of these notebooks are more customizable than their non-R models. They all pack Core i3 / i5 CPU options while the M501R has an AMD Phenom II X4 2.3GHz CPU.  This AMD CPU is new and actually hasn't even been officially announced. The GPUs in all of these notebooks are either integrated Intel or discrete from ATI. Apparently, these notebooks all have Dell's own Dock so they're perfect for "moms and youths." There also appears to be more options in the wireless, OS, and RAM categories. Check it out on Dell's website here.

Aigo Shows Off N700 Tablet, Running Android 2.1, Tegra 2 Graphics, and ARM Cortex A9 1GHz CPU

Last week we saw some tablets from Aigo, but these ones are just sexy. Don't let the looks fool you though, it's got quite the spec sheet. Apparently, this is a Compal NAZ-10 tablet in disguise. This tablet packs a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with an 800 x 480 resolution, an ARM Cortex A9 1GHz CPU, Nvidia's Tegra 2 graphics, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 4GB / 16GB / 32GB of storage, a USB port, a microSD card slot, WiFi / 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 support, an HDMI output, and Android 2.1. That's pretty awesome especially considering that the 3,120mAh battery should last for 16 hour of HD video playback! Apparently you can find this in China for around the $300 price ballpark which is, again, pretty awesome.

Nintendo Confirms the Black Wii Hitting the US On May 9th For $199

The title says it all. Nintendo has just confirmed that their black Wii will be hitting the US on May 9th. The Wii MotionPlus + Wii Sports Resort Bundle will be going for $199. They also confirmed that it'll be hitting outside of the US aka Canada, but the date wasn't mentioned. It's rumoured to hit Canada on the 23rd of this month.

Lenovo Z460 Notebook Gets Spotted Again, This Time Packing Core i5 CPU

The sexy Lenovo Z460 notebook that was spotted last week and has been mentioned again. This time it's packing an even better Intel Core i5-430M 2.26GHz CPU. This 14-inch notebook also has an LED-backlit display, a 500GB HDD, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and Windows 7 Home Premium. It probably has the same ATI Radeon HD 5145 GPU that the other model has, so it's pretty capable of some gaming.

This picture is obviously hinting at something. Could Vodafone really be planning to launch the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini? It definitely looks like it's on the way since this has been spotted in Vodafone's May catalog. It should be launching this Summer, which is quite soon. Maybe they plan to launch the Pro model as well.

Samsung (M350) Seek Hides a Slide-Out QWERTY, Hitting Sprint On May 9th For $30

Another handset from Samsung is headed to Sprint in the future. This is the Samsung (M350) Seek, which packs a 2.6-inch touchscreen display along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It'll be priced at $30 on a 2-year contract and it'll be available on May 9th, which is on Sunday. Other specs include a 1.3MP camera, CDMA 1x connectivity, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
