Coming from TechCrunch is word on the photo above and video below being the INQ Cloud Touch aka the Facebook Phone. Of course, this handset isn't actually going to be Facebook-branded and it's running the Android OS. However, this phone does use Facebook's API for deep integration so it may be good for teens. This handset may be the INQ Cloud Touch but the channel manager, Andrew Bennet, has mentioned that there's a model with a QWERTY keyboard, dubbed the INQ Cloud Q. Check out the video below if your teens need a new phone so they can Facebook Chat their buddies.
Update: Pocket-Lint has picked up a few more photos of the INQ Cloud Touch (above) and another Pocket-Lint post got a few photos of the INQ Cloud Q handset (below). They've mentioned that you'll see both of these Facebook Android phones at MWC.

Bluetooth SIG Filing For INQ Cloud Touch Says It Could Be the Facebook Phone

Thanks to a Bluetooth SIG filing, the Facebook phone may actually be real and coming from INQ just like it was rumoured. Apparently, this handset, dubbed the INQ Cloud Touch, will be running on the Android platform and will have "Facebook build into its core". If that doesn't mean a Facebook phone then I don't know what that means. Specs are unknown right now, but it's coming from INQ so I'm going to assume that it'll be a mid-end and cheap device.

This handset has just hit the FCC and it's, of course, got 3G bands perfect for AT&T, Rogers, Bell, and Telus in North America. Engadget suggests that maybe AT&T will launch it to battle back against Verizon's Kin One and Kin Two handset, so y'never know what's in store for the future. Check out the FCC filing here.

First Sprint WiMAX Device To Run Android, Eclair Delayed Until Q2 2010 and Other Android Rumours

Some big Android rumours have been popping up online, right now there's 3 of them. Apparently, Sprint is looking to launch their first 4G (WiMAX) handset and it could be running Android - and possibly coming from Samsung? Another rumour is that "Eclair", which is the codename for Android OS 2.0, isn't expected to launch until Q1 2010, so it's quite a ways away. The last rumour is that INQ is currently trying to work out a deal with a carrier so that they can launch their handsets on there. Their Android handset will be coming in 2010 with their own customized UI with social networking integration, of course. Other Android rumours are disappointing though: no Android handset from LG this year, no TomTom (GPS) app this year for Android, and "no standalone Google Maps navigation software."
Update: Seeing as the Eclair is now on display at the Googleplex I highly doubt that we'll see a Q2 2010 launch. I'm telling you to expect it this year.

INQ Creating Touchscreen Phones in the Future With Android-On-Board
INQ has mentioned that they are going to make touchscreen phones in the future and these said phones will be running Android. Like the INQ Mini 3G and the INQ Chat 3G, these handsets will likely implement social networking features into the OS itself - similar to Motorola's MOTOBLUR. We'll just have to see exactly what INQ has in store for us since they are promising "cool things."
