HTC Lancaster Set For AT&T Has a QWERTY Keyboard and Runs Android

Labels: , , ,

What you see here is the HTC Lancaster which is an Android handset set to be released on AT&T on August 3. I don't know how certain this release date is because "AT&T standard UI has been requested, which puts schedule in question." This means that it might not come out on August 3, but hopefully we'll get it sometime in Q3. This HTC Lancaster is basically an HTC Magic with a QWERTY keyboard. Other specs include: a 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320 resolution) touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP camera, tri-band EDGE and 850 / 1900MHz HSPA support, aGPS, a microSD slot, and a "unique HTC social messaging user interface." I'm actually excited for this device since it's running Android, has a touchscreen, and also a nice QWERTY keyboard - I just wish it was more HTC Touch Pro 2-like. We'll see if this gets released in Canada sometime this year.

BlackBerry Onyx Gets Officially Reviewed

Labels: ,

This is the real BlackBerry Onyx and it is in competition with the Tour for the sexiest-looking BlackBerry. The specs are definitely sexier though, so we can all give it that. The BlackBerry Tour 9630 doesn't have WiFi and that is a disappointment, but this device has everything that every BlackBerry owner should love. 3G, WiFi, GPS, and a 3.2MP camera packed all into this one BlackBerry - the Onyx. It doesn't have a touchscreen, so that could also be favourable to some users, including me, for a BlackBerry. Take a look at CrackBerry's review at the link below!

Samsung M7600 Beat DJ Now Available On O2 UK

Labels: , , , ,

Remember the Samsung M7600? The phone I dubbed the DJ / rapper phone in earlier February? Well, it is now available overseas on O2 UK for anywhere between £0.00 and £146.80 ($233 USD) depending on what contract you choose. To recap some of its specs it has: a 2.6-inch AMOLED display, a DJ scratching app, a 3.2MP camera, and has Bang & Olufsen audio. It's definitely a must buy for the music geeks out there.
