Samsung N20 Netbook Now Available; A Via Nano First
Update: I've made a big mistake in this post. The VIA Nano is not made by AMD; it's made by VIA Technologies. It is their answer to the Intel Atom and the AMD Geode (which we have yet to see hit a netbook, I believe). Now I know not to rush my blog posts. Thanks, Anonymous!

Samsung's First Android Phone In June; 2 More Afterwards
Remember the blurry Samsung Android-based phone photo (right)? Well, they were expected to touch down in July but according to Samsung VP, Dr. Won-Pyo Hong, the phone will see an international release in June. Along with this phone, he also confirmed that they are expecting to launch 2 more Android-based phones by the end of the year - in the second half. The phones are said to be "totally different" from each other and will also be dissimilar to HTC's Android phones. All I'm hoping for is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a fairly large and working touchscreen - around 3.5-inches. Oh, they should also get rid of the chin too, I don't like it at all.

Nintendo DSi Almost Available
The Nintendo DSi launched in Europe today and is hitting North American shores in just 2 days. The new DSi is a bit lighter, weighing in at just 7.5 ounces, and is also slimmer than the previous DS. It's around $40 USD more expensive than the current DS, but that shouldn't be a problem because of its new features. It has two 0.3MP cameras, an ARM 133MHz processor, 16MB of RAM, WiFi, a larger 3.25-inch screen, and an SD card slot. Unfortunately, the DSi drops the old Game Boy Advance card slot to make room for these new features. The new DSi will compete directly with the PSP and indirectly with the gaming aspect of the iPod Touch / iPhone. Like Apple, the DSi will have its own App Store called DSi Shop where you can purchase DSiWare - basically, downloadable games. To top it off, the DSi also doubles as a music player. Americans look out for this new toy for your kids in just 2 days.

Google Buying Twitter?
Apparently, "Google is in 'late stage' talks to acquire microblogging service Twitter, according to a report Thursday on TechCrunch citing two unnamed sources." This rumour is pretty juicy because Facebook tried to buy Twitter when it first started to become popular, but that never happened. As Twitter's popularity expands, Facebook continues to try to imitate them as much as possible - clearly missing the big picture. It would be interesting to see how Twitter would help Google in the future. Whatever happened to that rumour about Google acquiring Skype from Ebay?
