Lenovo Shipping Three 10-Inch Tablets To the US This Year, No Smartphone Until 2012

WSJ is reporting something good for the Lenovo fans out there. They have reported that the company has three 10-inch tablets scheduled to launch in the US this year. Two of them will be Android tablets (one for business, one for consumers) and the other one is said to be sporting Windows. While that's all well and good, they also report that the company doesn't plan to launch a smartphone in the US for another 12 to 18 months so it'll be after Q2 of next year. Interesting stuff, I wonder what they have planned for us.

T-Mobile Capable HTC Flyer Hits the FCC, Could Launch Next Month

Looks like another HTC Flyer model has just hit the FCC. The Android "Gingerbread" tablet sports the Sense UI and this one would be compatible of running on T-Mobile's network in the US. Of course, this is also good enough for WIND Mobile in Canada but they have yet to launch their first tablet. Early rumours point to the HTC Flyer hitting T-Mobile in July so the launch could be within the next month. Check it out at the FCC.

Unlocked iPhone 4 Now Available Through Apple For $649

Labels: , ,

A day early but I'm sure people won't mind but Apple has just released the unlocked iPhone 4 in the US. The smartphone is available right now in black and white in the US for $649 and $749 for the 16GB and 32GB models, respectively. The sad part about this is that you'll still only be able to use it on AT&T in the US so it's not that big of a deal. They're just trying to clear out their inventory before the new one launches this Fall. Check it out on Apple.
