LG LEX8 3DTV Set To Launch At IFA This Year, Slimmest LED TV Ever!
LG is set to unveil something pretty amazing and likely quite expensive at IFA 2010 in a couple of days. What you see above is the LG LEX8 which sports Nano LED backlighting and it'll be a 3DTV. This will be the slimmest LED TV in the world with its .88cm thick body along with a 1.25cm bezel, unless some other company steals the show. This 3DTV will, of course, have support for LG's NetCast widgets and will also come with the new Magic Motion remote. It'll be hitting Germany and Korea sometime next month (September), but the price is still unknown.

It has just been announced that StreamTV will be launching their tablet on Amazon later this year. Dubbed the Elocity A7, this tablet will be hitting the website for $399 sometime next month (September). This tablet is just a rebranded Aigo N700 which is a rebranded Compal NAZ-10. The A7 is said to be sporting a 7-inch capacitive multitouch display with a 480 x 800 resolution, a 1.3MP front-facing webcam, an SD card slot, USB / HDMI ports, a 1GHz Tegra II-720 CPU, 3G support, and Android 2.1. The CEO did mention that in October, the tablet will be shipping with Android 2.2 "Froyo" so that's some pretty great news.
On paper, this could be successful but who knows how things will play out when it actually launches. Remember, we have heard of them company once before with those glasses-free 3DTVs.

Another leaked picture of the Samsung Galaxy Tab gives a few hints to which carrier it could be hitting. This leak tells us that at least one version of the Galaxy Tab will be CDMA connectivity (it says so on the white paper on the top of the tablet) and could be hitting Verizon or Sprint sometime in the future (later this year). Since it's beside a DROID X I'll assume that this means a Verizon launch which lines up with the many inventory leaks.

HP's CTO Teases Three Devices On Twitter, Look Out For SXSW 2010

HP's CTO, Phil McKinney, has just teased three new devices that his company is working on. All three of them are in the photo above but he mysteriously cropped out all three of them. The first one appears to be a slate device, the second could be a phone or a new Zune HD, the third device is on his wrist so this one could be a watch of some sort. Sadly, he hinted that these prototypes are something that you could see in the distant future, about "5 to 10 years" from now so maybe these won't hit the market anytime soon. If they do, let's hope that's a WebOS tablet, the flagship WP7 handset, and a watch that does something a bit extra. You can check out the tweet here, we might be seeing them at SXSW 2010 according to him.
