HTC Purposely Leaks Wrong Information, HTC Halo To Be An Android Tablet?
Lately Eldar Murtazin has been the leader of leaks and he's just mentioned some insider information regarding HTC. This tweet states, "HTC made controled leak of some devices. Specs arent true for some of them. Like Halo isnt a phone. Thats a kind of android tablet." This is pretty good news, but it's pretty interesting that HTC is purposely leaking the wrong information "to throw us all of the scent." Will the HTC Halo really be an Android-powered tablet? We'll just have to wait and see.

Another e-book reader, this time from the Lenovo camp. The Tianji iBook EB-605 will be launched this year and will be bringing a 6-inch e-ink display, an ARM 400MHz CPU, a music player, a picture browser, and a possible SIM card slot. It should be available for ¥2,000 ($293 USD) later this year. Let's hope that e-ink dies soon because Mirasol and Pixel Qi displays are so much better.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 has been delayed countless times and it looks like it could be getting a launch this April in some countries. Of course, in America it'll be called the X2a. We don't know where it'll launch but it's already been dropped by Vodafone UK at this point. Let's hope this one hits the market before the XPERIA X10... actually it doesn't really matter.

The price is expected to be about 2,500 ¥ ($366 USD), but it's non-existent right now. Let's hope they show off a real product soon.

Just because it's the weekend doesn't mean that the leaked news takes a break. This one is apparently the HTC Supersonic already running Android 3.0. The carrier is reportedly T-Mobile, but still, 3.0 already? It's like Android is evolving too fast.
Update: According to Phandroid, this screenshot is actually a fake - and actually doesn't take that long to fake.

If you haven't picked up a BlackBerry Curve 8520, well you should probably note that Rogers has just launched a white model of this smartphone. I'm pretty sure this is the first carrier to launch a white model - but they also have a white Bold in case you're interested in that. Unfortunately, the white Curve 8520 is not shipping with BB OS 5.0 - instead it's got OS 4.6.1.290 on-board, which is kind of a let down. It's available for $50 on a 3-year contract.

Update: Mobile Syrup has just found out that the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is available on Bell for just $249.95 contract-free. So that means you can now get it free on a 3-year contract or for just $249.95 contract-free.
