HP Reveals Mini 210 / 2102 / 5102 / Compaq 201 Netbooks At CES 2010

Labels: , , , , , ,

Looks like today is shaping up to be HP's day. They have unveiled a couple of new products for us, this one's the HP Mini 210. This netbook features: a 10.1-inch display, a chiclet keyboard, a multitouch trackpad, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB / 250GB HDD, a multicard reader, and WiFi b/g/n. The $299 model will have Windows XP Home and the more expensive $329 model will have Windows 7 Starter Edition. The HP Mini 2102 is not much different from the Mini 210, but it's aimed at business owners and will start at $399.

The HP Mini 5102 is above and is another netbook. It'll be sporting a 10.1-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 / 1,366 x 768 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, optional GPS support, 1GB / 2GB of RAM, a 160GB / 250GB / 320GB HDD, an optional 80GB / 128GB SSD, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth support, optional 3G connectivity, a 4 / 6-cell battery, and has several different OS options like Windows XP / 7 / Linux. To make things a bit better it'll have an optional capacitive touchscreen display and will be available with the slightly faster N470 1.83GHz CPU later on this year. This netbook will be available in black, red, and blue for $399 USD.

Last, and probably least, is the Compaq 201 netbook which actually features last year's Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU and is priced at $229. Definitely a year behind on that one.
