AT&T has just announced their latest handset, the Samsung Rugby II. This handset will sport some rugged features since it'll be able to withstand some shock, dust, vibration, or rain. That explains the $130 price tag on a 2-year contract (after a $50 mail-in rebate). The Rugby II also has other features like AT&T's Navigator service, a 2MP camera, HSPA (7.2Mbps) connectivity, Bluetooth support, and a microSD card slot. This handset will be available on June 6th - the day before Apple announces the next iPhone at WWDC.

Carphone Warehouse has just announced that they'll be launching the Dell Streak aka the Mini 5 MID. This Android 1.6 based tablet sports a 5-inch WVGA touchscreen display and should get an OTA update in the future - hopefully to Android 2.1 or even 2.2 "Froyo". Inside you'll find a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, a microSD card slot, a 16GB card in the box, and on the outside you'll find a front-facing VGA camera along with a 5MP AF camera on the back with a dual-LED flash. The launch will apparently be later this week.

Update: According to Engadget, it's just been confirmed that O2 UK will be launching the Dell Mini 5 in early June. And, of course, it'll also be hitting the US later this Summer - whenever that is.

Update: Slash Gear has mentioned that it'll be hitting O2 UK on June 4th.
