Well, well, well. The Samsung (I8520) Galaxy Beam is now available in Singapore (site here) but sadly something inside has been underclocked. Of course, I'm talking about the TI OMAP3440 CPU which is just 720MHz. That CPU is normally clocked to 800MHz so it's just a little bit underclocked but still. You never know when that extra 80MHz will come in handy. They likely dropped the CPU speed for battery life seeing how that integrated pico-projector could kill your battery pretty quickly.

Another Nokia X5 Gets Official In Singapore
Out of nowhere, a new Nokia handset has just been made official. It's being called the Nokia X5 and it looks very different from the Nokia X5 that got made official in China two months ago (that's here). The spec sheet wasn't announced but we do know that it'll feature Symbian S60 along with a 5MP camera and some social integration. It's pretty thick judging from the side picture (below) and it'll come in a bunch of colours including black, hot pink, bright blue, and yellow.

The Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 has been delayed for a while now, but apparently it is finally going to get launched next month (August) in Singapore. The Nuvifone M20 is also launching next month, but I wonder who cares at this point. I'm sure some people do, so the launch is scheduled to be "within 30 days." Mark it on your calendars... if you really feel like.
