Toshiba Announces the AT200, Just 7.7mm Thin and Running Android
Toshiba has just announced their latest tablet and it's the same one that leaked a few days ago. Yes, it's the AT200 which is running Android "Honeycomb". The tablet is just 7.7mm thick which is a full mm thinner than Samsung's thinnest tablet and even the iPad 2. The tablet itself features a 10.1-inch display with a 1,280 x 800 resolution, a TI OMAP 4430 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB / 64GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera with an LED flash, and up to 8 hour of battery life.
As you can see, the back of the device is sporting brushed aluminum which gives it a premium look. The price and release date for the tablet is till unknown but we should hear about those details soon. Toshiba should've released this instead of the Thrive a couple of months ago.
