Alienware M11x Gaming Notebook To Get Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU Options Next Month

Over a month ago, we heard about the Alienware M11x getting an upgrade to Intel Core 2010 CPU options. The good news is that it should be available sometime next month (June). At 2:20 in the video below, the Dell rep mentions that the M11x notebook will be getting new Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPU options. Unfortunately, he didn't mention anything about Nvidia's Optimus technology so that might not be featured inside the refresh.

New Motorola DROID Getting Started Manual Spotted, Possibly the Shadow or the Xtreme

This new picture is looking like a Getting Started manual for a new Verizon-bound Motorola Android device. It will clearly be a part of their DROID line-up so maybe the picture above is what the long-rumoured Shadow handset will look like. It could also be the Motorola DROID Xtreme that we heard about 10 days ago; they do have the DROID Incredible, so the DROID Xtreme could be next in the line-up. If it's the Shadow it could be sporting a 4.3-inch display along with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

LG Ally Gets Delayed Until May 27th, Unknown Reasons

Well, clearly the LG Ally didn't launch on the 20th as expected. It's reportedly been delayed for a week thanks to some unknown reasons. It's now scheduled to launch on May 27th, but you can still pre-order it if you want to. There's no need to speculate since it's only 5 days away, so look out for it.

Some Lucky Google Nexus One's Already Getting an OTA Update For Android 2.2 "Froyo"

Well, so much for "in the next few weeks." Some users on Twitter and even on Tech Crunch are reporting that their Nexus One's were already getting an OTA update for Android 2.2 "Froyo." There's no word on how stable it is, but it must be working pretty well for it to be slowly rolling out already. On Engadget, their Nexus One just got OTA update and so did Tech Crunch's MG Siegler so hopefully you're one of the lucky few.

Toshiba Satellite P505 Notebook Packs 18.4-Inch Display and Core i7-720QM CPU, Going For $1,149

Toshiba has just unveiled their latest Satellite notebook, the P505. This notebook is set to be your desktop replacement with its 18.4-inch display with an awkward 1,680 x 945 resolution, Nvidia's GeForce 310M (512MB) graphics, and an Intel Core i7-720QM CPU. You'll also find 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD, a DVD SuperMulti drive, four USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot, a memory card reader, and a 12-cell battery.

There was a coupon that would bring this notebook to just $689, but now you'll have to cough up $1,149 here if you want.

Acer Announces the Atom-Powered Aspire One 360 Netbook

Acer has just announced their latest netbook, this one is a part of their Aspire One Series. The Aspire One 360 and it's not much different from any other netbooks they offer. It's sporting an unknown Atom CPU, a 10.1-inch display, a multitouch touchpad, and a 360 degree design - whatever that is. This netbook will be available in four colours: onyx black, think pink, moon shadow, and cool purple. Netbooked mentioned that this is "like the Intel Atom version of the Acer Aspire One 521."
