Coming from Mobile Syrup's tipster is word that Telus has just become the first carrier in Canada to release the BlackBerry Style 9670 smartphone. Sadly, this is because the handset runs on their old school CDMA network so you won't be able to take advantage of the carrier's better and faster HSPA+ network. Specs include an external and internal display, a 5MP AF camera with a flash, WiFi support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot (8GB in the box), and OS 5.0 (OS 6.0 sometime in the future).
This is reportedly available right now for $79.99 on a 3-year contract, $229.99 on a 2-year contract, $349.99 on a 1-year contract, and $399.99 contract-free. It seems a bit expensive for this one in my honest opinion.
